real, this year has just been shameless money farming watchparty content
Some people may call him the worst due to his bias in SEN, as well as him not paying attention to matches where SEN isn't playing and that's 100% true. The only time you can tell he's invested in the game is when SEN plays especially with Rob Moore in the call. Otherwise he gives the most fake generic reactions that he cycles through for different scenarios. A team gets ecoed? "Oh no way they got ecoed bro thats crazy." 1v5 clutch? "No way guys he won the 1v5 clutch." Even when SEN plays, half the rounds he'll be staring at his phone between rounds and he'll be like "oh shit what happened i missed it". He easily makes over $5k USD per watch party stream and can't focus on the game for 40 minutes? Check your phone between games and respect ur viewers lil bro. And don't even get me started on his analytical skills. The most he ever contributes is the most obvious stuff we can see on the screen. Like no shit they're rushing A, dude says the most obvious shit known to mankind to try and sound smart to his audience. I've even seen him try and analyze the gameplay and then admitting himself that he has no clue what he's talking about (at least he's self aware). There's a reason why FNS gets similar viewership as tarik during non SEN games and it's because he can actually provide useful insight into what the players are doing past the surface level. It actually makes the watchparty interesting, and he's able to make jokes throughout the stream as well. This guy tarik has the personality of a brick wall because he's afraid that making one bad joke might lose one of his/SEN's 20 sponsors.
So I will keep hating for all these reasons. And you guys need to choose better watchpartiers and stop giving this guy viewers for mid ass watchparty content - he literally has multiple houses including his NY penthouse already.
the real issue is that the song is supposed to be an "anthem" that brings the cinematic feeling that the entirety of the champs event can build on. it should be something familiar for the viewers to get hype every time it comes on before walkouts, in between matches, etc.
this song is the definition of a default hyperpop song with no heavy drops, no beautiful/cinematic vocals, no grandoise feeling. its not a bad song by any means but for the context of being the year's biggest event's anthem it falls completely flat. like genuinely the biggest peeve for me is there being no recognizable drop. what do you mean the champs anthem thats supposed to get you hype as shit has no drop. hello? literally any of the recent league of legends music releases would be a better fit and those are just random songs that they release throughout the year.
if he does really poorly he probably has to prove himself in T2 in 2026 to get his stocks back up
I just realized why NRG have been looking good after FNS left. They were so used to playing 4v5 games and now that they have 5 players who can actually shoot the difference is probably night and day. not to mention the enemy team isn't able to farm 1 free ult orb every single round. this was FNS's big plan since the start of this year. another FNS masterclass
just reduce the reserve ammo from 200 to 100

focus on improving yourself and don't feel the need to micromanage your team every game. at the end of the day as long as you get better you will rank up even if it takes a while

i have a way to increase valorant's viewership and player base. basically we need a boxing showmatch between all the retired pros (current pros too if theyre ok with risking their career). like imagine fns at (5'2 75lbs) getting in the ring against shanks (5'4 230lbs) that shit would pull in hella views. like fns would be faster and he could dodge around but then shanks could just sit down in the ring and cause an earthquake making fns lose his balance and then shanks starts laughing like a dolphin but then pujan pulls out his indian accent card and causes shanks to laugh even harder creating shockwave ripples that destabilize the whole ring making it collapse. it would be pure chaos breaking lose in the event like that would just pull in views from every corner of the internet and get more eyes on valorant. and then this is the real genius part, whoever is organizing the event gotta get tarik in the ring against tom aspinall for the headline fight so we can see tarik give some real emotion and reactions instead of his fake ahh watchpartying reactions.
