The current EG Roster has been lackluster at best, there are way too many problems for the team to sort out on their own and changes are necessary. The problem is EG lost all amazing prospects in the offseason and now theres very few amazing players remaining, Theyve lost Eeiu to FURIA in the offseason, lost Seven to PCF, Chloric to NAVI, Jerrwin to Sentinels, Vora and Timo to 100T and they let Yay go on his own.

Players you Keep:

DGZin - Perma Duel
Okeanos - Perma Flex
Bao - Perma Sentinel

Now, both Supa and Com were good players but the issue simply is theyre both past their primes, Supamen still shows glimpses and shows he still has the mechanics to compete but its simply stupid to keep running old players with declining mechanics while you have up and coming talent that is also hungry to win. C0M is simply a liability player at this point in time, everybody knows what hes gonna do and he keeps doing it everytime aswell, His IGL-ing isnt great aswell and his impact role wise is mediocre too. I still like both of these players but i like EG as an org more, its time to make changes. Good thing about EG is they have an academy team which means

The last one is kinda my own soft spot for Yay, i dont think they should remove Bao hes aight. But the most needed of these changes is Definetly bringing in Either Mitch, NiSMO or Zander. Mitch brought C9 from bottom 2 last year to an actual competitve team, he has what it takes to be a good IGL, NiSMO has been in Tier2 for too long and he deserves a shot atp and might aswell be on EG since they both need eachother, same as Zander.

Possible Roster:

DGZin - Okeanos - Bao - Mitch/NiSMO - Stallion/Payne
DGZin - Okeanos - Yay - NiSMO/Mitch - Payne/Stallion
DGZin - Okeanos - Bao - Flyuh/Kyu - Zander

I honestly disagree about the supamen part, he's doing completely fine and he is absolutely not one of the reasons that roster is failing, but I still prefer Okeanos performance on controller (LEV) compared to what he has shown as a flex so that's the only reason I would sack supamen.

C0M is a complete disaster and needs to go ASAP, I absolutely hate his IGLing and even more his gameplay, there's absolutely no excuse to not replace him, there's tons of upgrades available everywhere.

Flyuh has bad rep because of his stint on KOI but with all due respect that team had no salvation, he's a good IGL as proven by his time in MxS and now QOR (and he can actually do shit besides trying to wrap around the map for the bazillionth time). You could argue there's better options like Mitch or Nismo, but this would be my pick.

uhhh idk zerona is just there because he's from their academy team and he almost joined furia idk much else about him

Yeah supamen is doing fine but there are just better options out there, trust i like unc just as much as the next guy but its hard to ignore up and coming talent. Im a bit hesitant on Flyuh after his KOI stunt but ive always been high on Mitch so im js gonna back him up on this one

This roster would've been stupid on paper even for EG when Oke and bao were picked up. However they've genuinely proven to be one of the best teams in NA tier 2. I'd say as a roster they have more potential than Oke and Bao did.

I guess you could make a case for Bao over paincakes, But I'd say paincakes would be better here personally.
Zerona over Oke
JAkee over Supa

Last year I'd agree with keeping Bao and Okeanos, but right now I don't really see as much potential.

Lmfao no they're not one of the best team in NA T2 what are u saying. They just got lucky QOR lost smoke and NRG lost chloric cuz they were faaaar from the top 4 last split
And Zerona does not clear oke as a flex at all
And Jakee and Supa are both mediocre tier, irrelevant players who pop off here and there when surrounded by better teammates, just like GMD

EG needs a good caller, and I personally think sacking C0M for a good caller and a great team behind him is going to benefit EG more in the longrun than keeping C0M will.

You get to put your Star duelist into a system that has Proven to work rather than hoping the 5 you hobbled together build a system.

They need strats more than they need C0M

I honestly think it was because she had Ziks during 2023 ICL.

I think Potter and Ziks was a dream duo. Potter was a coach that kept mental up and made players almost tilt-proof while Ziks had the strats.
Once potter lost Ziks it was like a Knife with only a handle. It's a great handle, but without the blade it's not gonna cut anything.

Potters got strats as well I'm sure, but I think having ziks Along with her was what made her so great.

XXiF is the Igl on YFP, who's imo a downgrade from bao.

Just promoting EGA and keeping DGZ/Bao would be great for the roster.

Been saying this on the current roster DGz and Oke are great the others are honestly a waste of time and space.

c0m is just a worse Nature and that's a fact difference is Nature is highly underrated but added alot of value last year calls were good and he had so many clutches plus they were 2 rounds off international the best showing since 2023.

Bao was hyped to be insane and since has been very lackluster tho that can also be down to the players around him but a disappointing showing compared to his hype.

Supamen is becoming the new xeppa and asuna with paycheck stealing allegations (I don't agree with the allegations) he has been shit since last year and I think since split 2 he has had 2 decent series at best fuck knows how this guy is still in this roster.

Other than DGz and Oke this year EG is just a direct downgrade from last year and that's impressive with how bad supa and sometimes icy was playing.

I would've stayed with

icy --> DGz - Main duelist
yay --> yay - 2nd duelist/Chamber flex
Derrek --> Oke - Main smokes/Flex
Nature --> Nature - Main initator
Supamen --> bao - Viper

Double duelist works with
DGz + yay =Duelist
Nature = Main initator
Okeanos = Main smoke
Bao = Viper/Senti

Double initator for example NRG pearl comp
DGz - Main duelist = Waylay
Nature - Main initator = Sova
Oke - 2nd initator = Tejo
Bao - Smokes = Astra
yay - Senti = Killjoy
