Lemme start with this, js made an acct but Ive been watching VCT since 2023~, MIBR fan (been a fan since the coach knife on lotus, just thought it was cool). Can someone explain the 100T hype? Im not trying to ragebait or anything, Im just confused about why everyone is so excited about them, when they dont seem like anything exceptional.

Dropping cryo is a no-go too clean an aimer/fragger to drop and he's getting better with the other agents that aren't chamber . Asuna had flatlined and 100T and bang is a very good player but I need him to perform like pre sen bang again

Imma be so real would've preferred seven over asuna but Cryo is still a yes for me to keep. That feels like it would fix a lot for 100T and just be that stepping stone while keeping a solo duelist on the team
Loyalty. Idt lot of 100T fans bandwagon we got used to mediocrity and stayed in hope it gets better and next thing we know we innit for life.
100T didnât have highest of highs like EG or Loud, Lowest of lows like Furia/ Mibr (past rosters). They were just good enough to keep fans compelled and hopeful each stage with their performance which kept fans believing. Iâm sure if we had a low as Furia lot of fans would hop off the train.
it's because 100T is a hoodie company, so the fans don't really care about the team
5th best team in Kickoff, with the Yoru nerfs it GREATLY benefits their team with 0 negatives towards them. Other teams were way more Yoru pilled in Americas. Coaching staff is good, their rookies are playing decent, and they've already beaten C9, LEV, and EG during the Yoru meta.
Also no one really has them above 4th max, most ppl have them at 5th from what I can see so idk what hype ur talking bout tbh
If you are a fan of a team from a specific moment that inspired you to follow them..try to remember that moment as accurate as you can, itâs not a good look. All good tho.
potential for upsets, some of their losses in kickoff were pretty close so they have the potential to qualify to an event

when you remove the bandwagoners from all fanbases 100T has the 2nd biggest fanbase in NA, its only natural for teams with fans to be hyped

A lot of well known players are either currently on, or were on 100T at some point. (Cryo, Asuna, Dicey, Ethan, Hiko, Steel, Inspire, Nitr0, Seven.)
All around they're fun to watch and have no reason for any true hate which means most people are gonna like them.
This is a vlr user that speaks my language. Soon you will come to understand that 100T are somehow perpetually overhyped by their fans even when they say they aren't overhyping them. And Soon you will watch them look great for 2-3 weeks and then fall off a cliff.

So if thats what you want them to do then 100T fan shouldnât even watch the games vs top 4 because in your mind result is already decided. Whatâs the point of watching and supporting your fav team right if everything is already written.
Thereâs this thing called âshowing upâ it applies to lot of aspect of life.
There is a difference between being a fan who watches all of a teams games and believes in them to do well and a delusional fan who puts unreal expectations on a team. Yes 100T have a slight possibility that they could beat a top 4 team and your fine to belive in that, but most 100T fans act like that possibility is much higher than it is and use it to delude themsleves into thinking 100T is much better than they actually are and then are incredibly disappointed when they don't meet the delusional expectations they set for 100T.
thats because the team generally does show levels that are very high (best team in the region material), this is why you also see outside sources rate them highly often
its just that they struggle to keep that form up for a whole season which is why they end up disappointing the fans
isnt the point of being a fan to hope? to feel emotion? if everyone had your mentality of "Erm well we have a 20% chance to win so I shouldnt get excited for the new split" then everyone would be depressed af
I didn't say not to get excited or to feel emotion, but at the start of every stage when 100T look good and competent do you know what 100T fans make threads about? Without fail they make 100T is the best itw threads just off 1 or 2 games and they are almost fully serious unlike most other fanbases who's team win 2 out of 5 games and who make those threads.
Tell which teams shouldnt have high expectations for there teams? C9, EG, SEN, etc...???? Which fan base shouldnt think there team can make an international lan? List all the teams in NA.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I genuinely don't think I could become as much of a fan of another team if I tried.
They have the same kind of storyline as NRG did last year, European coach coming up from tier two and taking some of the best t2 talent with them while keeping the mainstays of the team.
Timotino is nice, vora was an upgrade but meh, but they still have terrorists asuna and cry0.
Nadeshot could take a shit and 100T fans would get excited, 100T fanbase is delusional
