Lemme start with this, js made an acct but Ive been watching VCT since 2023~, MIBR fan (been a fan since the coach knife on lotus, just thought it was cool). Can someone explain the 100T hype? Im not trying to ragebait or anything, Im just confused about why everyone is so excited about them, when they dont seem like anything exceptional.

but i felt like they shoulda let go of two people from their 2025 roster... but u know what dey say: "loving is knowing when to let go".
hope they make an international tho (no ewc)
5th best team in Kickoff, with the Yoru nerfs it GREATLY benefits their team with 0 negatives towards them. Other teams were way more Yoru pilled in Americas. Coaching staff is good, their rookies are playing decent, and they've already beaten C9, LEV, and EG during the Yoru meta.
Also no one really has them above 4th max, most ppl have them at 5th from what I can see so idk what hype ur talking bout tbh

Dropping cryo is a no-go too clean an aimer/fragger to drop and he's getting better with the other agents that aren't chamber . Asuna had flatlined and 100T and bang is a very good player but I need him to perform like pre sen bang again

100T didn’t have highest of highs like EG or Loud, Lowest of lows like Furia/ Mibr (past rosters). They were just good enough to keep fans compelled and hopeful each stage with their performance which kept fans believing. I’m sure if we had a low as Furia lot of fans would hop off the train.

potential for upsets, some of their losses in kickoff were pretty close so they have the potential to qualify to an event

100T has always been that 1 team that could do something but never did.
Great players, Good coaches, 0 results.
A lot of well known players are either currently on, or were on 100T at some point. (Cryo, Asuna, Dicey, Ethan, Hiko, Steel, Inspire, Nitr0, Seven.)
All around they're fun to watch and have no reason for any true hate which means most people are gonna like them.

Yes 100T have a slight possibility that they could beat a top 4 team and your fine to belive in that, but most 100T fans act like that possibility is much higher than it is and use it to delude themsleves into thinking 100T is much better than they actually are and then are incredibly disappointed when they don't meet the delusional expectations they set for 100T.

thats because the team generally does show levels that are very high (best team in the region material), this is why you also see outside sources rate them highly often
its just that they struggle to keep that form up for a whole season which is why they end up disappointing the fans
They have the same kind of storyline as NRG did last year, European coach coming up from tier two and taking some of the best t2 talent with them while keeping the mainstays of the team.

Tell which teams shouldnt have high expectations for there teams? C9, EG, SEN, etc...???? Which fan base shouldnt think there team can make an international lan? List all the teams in NA.

I didn't say not to get excited or to feel emotion, but at the start of every stage when 100T look good and competent do you know what 100T fans make threads about? Without fail they make 100T is the best itw threads just off 1 or 2 games and they are almost fully serious unlike most other fanbases who's team win 2 out of 5 games and who make those threads.

Imma be so real would've preferred seven over asuna but Cryo is still a yes for me to keep. That feels like it would fix a lot for 100T and just be that stepping stone while keeping a solo duelist on the team
