Its not about the level of the teams, its more about playstyle, FURIA plays in Americas and has plenty of info on NRG at Masters. But they chose to play against the W gaming as their first game a now they are in lower bracket. I dont get it

the one type of round they could lose, they lost.
they did exceptionally well in gun rounds, semi-buys, anti-ecos, anti-forces.
the two things where they lost were : pistols as u mentioned and clutches.
now pistols are not random so people saying furia not winning pistol was randomised is wrong. if furia did well in pistols it doesn't necessitates a win in map. however clutches directly relate to how the economy can break in a single round. pistols happen at the start of halves whereas clutches are distributed and therefore have more impact on economy and leads.
imo gun rounds >> clutches >= pistols. this is why prx won because they had excellent gun rounds and more clutches in 1v2s and 1v1s
