are sentinels useless?

we have seen less and less sentinel play in pro play (emphasis on less)
this makes me wonder what would need a change to make the passive info gathering of sentinels viable again

possible changes i can think of are:
KJ
Remove the range limitation of the bots

Cypher (still one of the sentinels seeing use)
make the trips insta reveal

Deadlock
Idk, her info gathering is audio based

Veto (mild use)
up the amount of chokeholds he can carry (1 -> 2)

Sage
Wall buff
slow duration increase
heal cooldown decrease

Vyse
Wall buff
Razorvine deals a bit more dmg and is deployed longer
Flash makes hit noise

Chamber
Cost decrease of Trademark

idk that is just my suggestion for sentinel buffs
you can give your own suggestions

well now that we have double duelist meta the only really good sentinel is chamber and maybe sage with her delay util

Chamber, veto, and sage are currently fine as is, same with kj maybe just slightly increase her util range, the rest of them need some buffs though

1 free ability can remove MANY ults

i was talking about theoretical buffs, nerfs can be discussed later

flash initiator yes, they are all getting gapped by yoru right now
but scans? they are always meta, doesn't matter if riot brings back prime chamber, prime jett, prime viper/astra.
sova is definitely hard meta rn

vyse buffs are way too much, she was the best senti in the game when she had flash info. that's all she needs back
just make arc rose break on flash and she's balanced imo

vyse needs her info back but tweaked so every use breaks the flash so its on a 60 sec cooldown

the others are fine rn especially veto he is broken ppl just havent figured out how to utilize him

I don't think people get what i meant. I meant that the initiator class is more useless because most initiators are pretty weak. In contrast, sentinels are not too far away from each other making them more useful

by both definitions you are still wrong, you're arguing that the "average" or baseline sentinel is more useful than the average initiator, but that average is tanked by the stall sentinels vyse/sage/deadlock who have essentially no pickrate. kj/veto/cypher/chamber are picked at similar rates in pacific but even combined they barely match fade's pickrate alone. thus mathematically speaking the average initiator is still more useful than the average sentinel, even if it's just two initiators that are carrying this statistic alone
