off-season for the teams that don’t qualify ??

wouldn’t it be a good idea to have an off-season tournament during santiago, at times when there are no masters matches or whatever, an off-season event for tier 1 teams that didn’t qualify for santiago??
but this tournament would be officially run by riot, it wouldn’t give circuit points or anything, but it would have prize money and wouldn’t leave the teams that didn’t qualify stuck in the basement waiting for vct to start for a month and a half

for fun reasons it could even include tier 2 teams

It's kinda shameless when the others team compete at the highest level and u playing in offseason and couldnt qualify both embarrassment for good valorant and for the sake of the team that cannot compete in actual event

??? Your team's region literally conducts one of the most thorough in-season tournament besides the main VCT circuit. EVO Series literally gave teams time to readjust and bring up academy talents while ensuring there's action in between the split.

Fair but it's cant be implemented in global i mean CN have their own development and talent and that offseason is for their talent development not an actual team compete

Well, it's a choice- for teams that qualified for international events, they have to run their reserve/academy teams, for everyone else, it's fair game allowing their first team to compete.

this take makes no sense, do you really think players would feel embarrassed playing an off-season tournament instead of just watching masters from home?
only 3 teams per region go to masters, that’s way too few, the rest, which is the majority, just sit around scrimming at best
the valorant circuit is way too short, it shouldn’t be this spaced out for teams that don’t qualify for internationals

I mean it's happening from 16th feb in EMEA titled EMEA Clash; all VCT teams that don't qualify to Santiago will participate and yess we have 5 winners of their VCLs also participating.
VCL teams that have qualified already- Enterprise(Magnum,proxh and co coached by Itopata); Fokus( The German powerhouse) ; from VCL Spain only final is left between UCam and All CIS roster of coachless practicless NOVO; Winner of VCL turkiye, winner of VCL France.
Whoever gets eliminated today from VCT will also join them for EMEA Clash.

And you can't have it run alongside masters this is the perfect time to do it in the gap between the masters and end of kickoff where EMEA is putting it 9 VCT teams and 5 VCL teams is pretty good tournament I am expecting a double elimination bracket but lets wait for official details.

It's VCT EMEA's initiative others don't want to do it also there are some logistical issues in other regions. EMEA can do it online in short notice with zero issues only Levant Africa and MENA would have ping issues so they aren't invited to this tournament.
But Americas and Pacific won't really be able to do it online ; SEA India and OCE will have ping issues to Korea and similarly Latam and Brazil will have ping issues to US servers where VCT teams are playing.
