MIBR vs FUR upper bracket final. Does it hurt that both teams are full of NA talent or yall dgaf just happy to not be irrelevant for once ?

this is true, i was there at FURIA and MiBR headquarters and both teams were speaking fluent brazilian portugese and performing football drills in between scrims in order to not lose brazilian citizenship
Many have said that New Jersey is actually New Brazil, I think I'm starting to see the vision
Only bitches will cry about not having brazilians, i had to watch these Brazilian bums every year destroying greatness, taking down the highest peak valorant had ever seen.
What should we do this year? Build another BR team with 4 BR rookies like LEV?
"Oh they are going to aim diff the entire league, look Sato he is one of the best duelists in Americas they are gonna be insane"
Yeah surely putting 4 BR kids with 1 mediocre IGL would be the recipe for success.
I don't want to see BR bums playing, no one wants it, tell me who was watching FURIA 2024 play? No Brazilian watched that shit despite having 5 BR players.
I want to watch Aspas winning titles, i want to see good players on my team, it doesn't matter his language it doesn't matter his country, i want to watch good valorant.
I am not here for DEI, fuck Brazil, i want to see Aspas winning, thats all.
tbh the LEV roster can work, just don’t know how good of an igl kingg is nowadays so for now it’s a big question mark until stage 1
If LEV today don't stomp this KRU academy with Neon i have 0 hopes for them.
Sure i would be cheering for an org who signs streamers who hate us more than the most racist argentinian.
VAMOS TH
That's not the case at all. You're just crying and playing the victim because someone talked about your favorite player. 😴
In all honesty, Brazil as a region is incredibly cooked given how they lack quality callers. They can have all the aimers and all the up-and-coming talent, but there are no leaders who either have the brain to make the right call or the firepower to supplement mediocre calling. On top of that, it felt like the Brazilian teams last year didn't make great, sustainable comps and fell back on outdated comps. The only Brazilian org to win didn't even have a Brazilian IGL, but an Argentinian one in Saadhak.
The short of it is: there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a non-Brazilian IGL or non-Brazilian talent - the team/org plays for Brazil still.
interesting phrasing to say there's no brazillians with the brains to igl
dont know what are you talking about.
its clear that koalanoob was born in Ribeirão Preto and spent his early days playing soccer with neymar and casemiro.
Gianfranco Potestio is the most brazilian name i've ever heard, right alongside the likes of Michael Yerrow, Daniel Vucenovic, Torogul Baidyldaev, Zachary Patrone, Ian Botsch, Roberto Rivas, Andrew Maust, Vincent Schopenhauer, and Daniel Montaner
Hurts a little but it was not by lack of opportunities, many players came and went (and are still here) looking like they don't put a single effort on getting better, orgs have some fault to an extent but i can't really blame them for going NA at this point, maybe BR players can wake up and learn a lesson with this for once
I do not follow CS very closely, do Brazillian CS orgs have lots of home grown talent? Perhaps all the talent is just in the CS scene?
brazil has pretty solid riflers but literally 0 awp prospects. Furia signed a kazakh awp prospect last year and instantly became one of the best teams in the world
this is like if global qualify to santiago with only 1 indian
they will don’t care that much
or gm8 with only 1 french and etc
m8 fans don’t care if there are any french players as long as they rep the team
I'm always shocked by how europeans think their nationalities are equivalent to distinct ethnicities. I'm not shocked anglo orgs wouldnt care if they were winning with an anglo roster. It's not the same thing
yeah emea fans doesn't care about a one nation team, unless teams like fut and bbl (only turkish players, excluding 25 bbl)
i speak for all brazilians when i say we don’t care about not seeing more bums on our teams. it’d be really hard to put all the best brazilian talent on a single team, so we’d end up giving spots to bad tier 2 players from brazil.
fuck representation. as long as there’s at least one br on the team, it’s fine. and even then, in the end these orgs represent brazil anyway, and their whole ecosystem is made up of brazilian staff.
for example, the cook at furia’s house in LA is brazilian, and the guys there eat brazilian food all the time. besides brazilian fans being super passionate and putting a lot of pressure on teams, players also end up inevitably having contact with our culture. zekken, verno, mazino, and tex were here in brazil in são paulo eating at a brazilian churrascaria (barbecue) when they came to record the announcement video lol
