this isn't meant as an attack on boaster, he's an incredible IGL and has lead multiple iterations of teams to deep international runs
Is Boaster being the greatest IGL in the game make up for going -73 across the 3 international grand finals that FNC made? I genuinely do love FNC but looking back at Champs, EWC and Toronto and seeing that he's glued to the bottom of the leaderboard makes me wonder if having boaster on the coaching staff instead of IGLing would be more beneficial for FNC
i agree, i’m not sure if he should remain on the team while regularly underperforming
i do think he’s more hungry for winning than ever, after getting so close 2 (or 3) times, which may motivate more work on mechanics?
I feel like 2026 will be boaster's last year playing, then I think it'll probably be something similar to ange1 and navi, with him probably going to assistant coach (milan aigned through 2027 whereas desmo is only signed through 2026)
will be devastating to see him inevitably retire but that at least means fnc scouting has another shot at The Funniest Thing Ever
i think that a milan and boaster coaching duo would be absolutely brilliant, that duo alone could lift any squad into contention
While I generally agree, I also think there are benefits to having a mind like that in the server as opposed to only in timeouts, but no-one can stay playing forever, and I think depending on how good/bad Fnatic do in 2026, it will likely be his last year playing.

they got stomped in paris on the maps that they lost so despite going -35 in 5 maps, the entire team (-kaajak) was just not good enough that day
