every single player on there is a trophy contender besides a couple because their teams are ass, i am a believer in the champions curse, and it was a fluke champs to begin with
whether champs was a fluke or not does not change the fact that skuba was their second best player and has had consistent impact in nearly every one of their games
i also don't have faith for him to maintain that form going into next year, a lot of rookies especially extremely successful ones tend to underperform their second year
cortezia should be lower if you want to base your list off of that then
skuba was in contention for champs MVP while cortezia cannot win a clutch to save his life sadly
maybe i'm going off eye test a little and maybe i'm also mixing up stage 1 and stage 2 but I don't think Skuba even breaks 1.0 rating during kickoff 2026
why is less 3 if we’re going off current form when he just had the worst year of his career
same with meteor
regardless of if it's a product of his team being dogshit or not, he had a pretty significant falloff
still top 10 worthy but like. at 9 or 10
idk he put up 1.11 rating on probably 3rd or 2nd most dysfunctional team in emea prior to stage two** playoffs.
he did do worse in playoffs but anyone with half a brain could see that vitality was so dead that he and derke could've dropped 25 every map and they still wouldn't have qual'd for champions so I'm willing to grant him grace (and feed my own biases a little) there.
he def wasn't fully in it when vita went to shit but I think he's still got it to place him a bit higher than recent results might suggest (plus im biased ;D)

I'd place lukxo/cortezia higher if they had achieved more this year tbh not necessarily their fault tho
