I just got into the rabbit hole of cheating and holy fuck it's so easy to get away with it with 2 computers (one PC has the cheat, the other PC is to screen record valorant through OBS onto the second PC => it's basically undetectable) and it looks so damn realistic you won't notice it even if the player has a handcam because it still requires you to aim towards the target for it to micro adjust to the head, now I'm just paranoid wondering how many of these "cracked" ranked players are actually cheating and going under the radar because the PC they play on technically has no cheat on it

I didn't know... I thought cheating was just like a random thing you downloaded on your pc not a whole ass second PC
edit : also it's not even DMA, it doesn't read game memory at all, it uses a second PC or capture card to receive the video feed of the main gaming PC (like through OBS or HDMI) then analyzes the screen using computer vision or color detection to identify enemies (or AI) and because it only sees the screen and send inputs like a human through an arduino, they donât touch game memory and are not detectable
no one uses that, it's overpriced for no reason at all since dma works perfectly fine, a lot of t2 pros use it
legit no one uses a 2 pc setup for cheating bc its ridiculously overpriced and those that do who would probably be t2 players, aimbot is still pretty esay to detect with a 2pc setup but its like imopossible for esp or radar cheats
I mean technically since it's not running on the computer you're playing on and there's no connection between your computer and the one that has the cheat (except the internet connection) they can't, but I'm sure if you get reported 100000x a day you'll end up getting flagged, hence the realistic aimbot that doesn't make you a perfect robot but serves more as like a natural looking aim assist, it blows me away
buddy this is not true. no idea who ur learning your info off but riot can VERY MUCH detect network traffic from your pc to the cheat machine, it doesnt work like some vpn that encrypts all the data, riot still has access to the data from the second pc (at least the traffic its sending to the "real" pc). it also detects DMA since all the customers have the same device ID, board model, etc... once one is detected all the cheaters that have used that DMA will be banned, and once they know a user of the DMA's PCIe device matches no commercial hardware then its garaunteed to be a cheat engine and so its banned. basically DMA can at most last a few months IF the user creates their own cheating software that works as if u just simply buy a cheat it only takes 1 user to be detected for everyone to be banned even if u have never used the dma.
bro Riot doesnât magically get access to the second PC they only see what leaves/enters the main/gaming PC, if youâre streaming your game with OBS from the gaming PC to a second PC riot can't magically see into the other computer, they donât suddenly get access to what's inside of it, and loads of legit stuff looks exactly like what riot sees, streaming on twitch, discord screen share, remote work, geforce now, etc.. so âmain PC sends video somewhereâ is not proof of cheating by itself and they have no way to get access to anything other than that, I'm not gonna reply to your DMA part because I'm not talking about DMA in the first place which we know is flawed and easy to spot for riot
Riot can pretty much detect cheater as much as their anti cheat gets broken down they just keep updating the vanguard to make it stronger
but that's the thing though, it won't be able to since Vanguard lives on the gaming computer it can only see whatâs on that one, it can't just magically crawl back through an HDMI cable to peek into the second's computer, all they see is "oh cool thereâs a monitor on HDMI", it's literally impossible to scan a second computer through an HDMI cable, even if they wanted to they couldn't unless you've authorized riot on the second PC, HDMI is basically just "give me a screen and I send pixels" and that's it
But they can still figure out cheats though even if you a second pc for example I donât have the article but riot have banned the cheat of using arduino which is external hardware
tbh sometimes I watch these cracked ranked players in the replay and aside from a couple lucky flicks there's not anyone who stood out beyond having believably good mechanics (aside from an invisible clove that still baffles me to this day)
meanwhile about half of the times I've had a match terminated, I wouldn't have even noticed someone was cheating
