Im sure they are not this smart but here is my wild guess.
Keznit signed with Envy, but only for 6 months.
g2 thinks they can skate by with Babybay for the first half of the year, and then pick up keznit for cheap when his contract expires.
I feel like the only reason to do this and not pick up someone relevant, is if they have someone great in mind, but something is weird about the timing.
I don't see any world where G2 wins an event with a player like babybay people hard glaze his stats after being stuck on chamber with an outlaw but he ain't gonna do shit against these other teams.
It is sad because literally any deserving player in T2 or Sentinel in T1 would've been a better fit but here we are
But the snakeybay glazers won't understand until we go 2026 and see G2 somehow be shocked at the end of the year that they didn't win
