Before his retirement, sScary was a longstanding veteran of the Southeast Asia scene, attending multiple Masters and Champions events across 2021 and 2022 as part of X10 Esports X10 Esports Inactive Vera Rodman Yap Tempz Pierre Heng RedKoh Danial Hakim wayne Wayne Chang Egoist Javier Chua and XERXIA Esports XERXIA Esports Asia-Pacific Rank #22 .

In 2023, sScary made the jump to BLEED BLEED Inactive in Challengers Malaysia/Singapore. The team put up a dominant regional performance, only losing one match the entire year before moving on to Pacific Ascension, where sScary played a crucial role in BLEED winning the tournament and becoming the first team to ascend to VCT Pacific in the partnerships era.

sScary's legendary 1v4 clutch sealed the first map in BLEED's Ascension grand final victory.

Despite their dominance in Challengers, BLEED struggled in VCT, undergoing multiple roster moves and only securing one win over the course of the year in Stage 1. BLEED was later removed from VCT during the offseason; sScary soon issued an LFT announcement but later retired.

sScary now makes his return to VCT with FPX in his first foray into VCT China.
