During my past few months on vlr and with a main and alt account, I have noticed that vlr users can be characterized into a bunch of different categories that would also later make different and/or multiple branches in and out of itself, and according to my analysis that I've been doing for the past 5 seconds or so; here are the types of vlr users and their examples.
First and foremost, we have the normal vlr users who only use the site to check stats, matches and sometimes chill and hangout in forums/threads. This can be represented by nearly 80% of users that have visited vlr and I myself have been this type of user at one point.
Secondly, theres the no lifers. I'm talking about the opposite of the normal users, those with a bajillion posts and we literally see them under every thread and will always appear as your biggest fan in yukky's vlr wrapped. GREAT examples of users in this category would be delighted, berLINglazer and prime mortadelo.
Third, theres the lurkers who literally only reads threads and don't bother to reply to them, these are usually introverted people or literally just people who don't give a damn whatsoever. I wouldn't know anyone who could fit into this category because they never appear anywhere at all.
Those were the three types of vlr users based off of ACTIVITY. There's still a lot of branches to be made -- especially from that second category; as we have the pro players, the ragebaiters, the imitators, the repeater, etc...
So far we have Chronicle, Elevated and MAYBE I_LOVE_LESS in that first category, oness and berLINglazer (making it in another category) for that second one, the imitators was me back in August when I wanted to be so much like delighted and then we have a unique one -- the repeater -- that is poggpigg.
So based off this well thought out analysis and well written thread, what categories would you add AND what category would YOU be in?
