ok pretty much BBL had said that Pcific were an affiliate team so in essence the orgs were working together, like TL and Apeks were. That is the sole reason they were allowed to compete in ascension, other orgs have academy teams: LEV, SEN, TL etc, these teams aren't allowed to compete because their players are already contracted with a franchised tier 1 org. What BBL have just done is trick RIOT by saying Pcific players are independent from BBL but evidently they were already contracted or planned to be contracted. There's no real standard for this so I guess hypothetically you could cope and say they just decided to ALL leave their org to form the exact same team under an org they've never played for. It's extremely shitty because they stopped actual T2 organisations from ascending, like BBL since they are franchised have a lot more resources than these T2 orgs that are taking on an actual risk to invest.

ohhhhhh I forgot a team's strength comes from their organisation and region and not the actual team of 5 players playing. How Silly of me! How did I ever forgot that TR as a region just has infinite talent and team synergy is completely worthless so throwing 5 random TR into tier 1 would be better than putting a team that has fought all the through ascension and played a competitive series with BCF. BBL have so much more resources to freely invest and compete for an ascension slot since the worse case scenario for them is that they still get put their T2 players in T1 AND riot helps with their funding but for these T2 orgs, who can't compete with BBL's resources, they take on significantly more risk as they only get 1 chance to ascend in a year and don't really have a back-up like BBL does. There's no way you don't see how this sets a bad precendent or affects the T2 talent not lucky enough to be on BBL's pay roll.
