Help on improving aim

I started playing Valorant back in July(PRX bandwagon), and it’s actually my first FPS game ever. I’ve played 107 competitive matches so far and currently sit at Diamond 2(Lv51).

I’ve been watching Konpeki a lot and trying to apply what I learn, and I feel like my game sense and macro are pretty solid (I was Chall in League for 6 years, so understanding rotations, tempo, and pressure comes naturally).

But I feel like my aim is holding me back and holy fk im so inconsistent. Some games I’m crisp, other games I feel lost.

I’d really appreciate any advice or routines to help me improve my aim faster or recommend other. I'm using GPX SL 2

EDIT: i'm 108 wins and 82 loses. My bad. I thought it was total games on the thing. Never noticed until today and checked it on Valorant tracker.

Passive aim, crosshair placement and preaiming angles play a large part in your aim. Also practice tracking, a whole Lotta people don't practice tracking

I've been playing Chamber and Clove 2 trick only, since I have to focus on aim. Nah, i'm cooked asf i'm 25 yrs old already, just relying on macro.

Dont watch any of the aim videos or whatever theyre all pointless and shit

Watch and try to understand gameplay of genuinely cracked players (like not just average radiants, im talking about actual DEMONS like kaajak primmie xeus demon1 aspas florescent oxy)

You will start to see patterns and understand how to aim better

I would also stay away from aim trainers because theyre all pointless, literally all that matters in valorant is your hand-eye coordination, target confirmation (mentally check whether u are on the head) and if so click your mouse button

Hmmm I wonder what could possibly help train your hand eye coordination and target confirmation🤔🤔🤔

Going into the range and tapping heads for 5 minutes a day is enough

ill say one thing

movement is more important than aim so if u simply have good crosshair placement and know when to stop moving perfectly that's much more important than good raw aim, if you work on that first getting good aim will come with it

Now that you said it. I've never thought of my movement. I'm just perma random strafing. thanks.

Actually its not like movement is gonna carry you

Someone who has a very good first bullet accuracy will always win against you nomatter how good ur movement is

You should work on movement that is not related to gunfights themself but rather engaging them, so basically positioning and peeking techniques

I really think it's just based on myself being chall in league . Once you understand a game's macro, then it will be enough to reach decent rank on other games. My aim i'd say P3 - D1, even currently in Dia queue I average 1.1 - 1.2 kd only.

The best advice I can give you is play the game a lot. Dms, tdms, aim trainers all help isolate certain parts of your mechanics but the scenarios pressure situations angles and utility will never quite be like the real game
The best way to rank up is to only play 3 or so games a day, but if you want to improve you gotta grind way more
Make sure that your not putting most of your time into DMing or aim training, playing the game itself is very important too
