With what crashies posted on Instagram & Twitter, we can assume hes leaving. Leo on his assumed alt has been grinding val every day for a week, and looks pretty good. He also still has a contract with FNC according to GCD.
citrus_ [#3]i thought he retired?
For health issues but he can come back, and hes been playing ranked recently
Congo1 [#4]no leo is out of contract now.
Also i think he is not ready. Maybe later in the season or next year but not now.
Is there like an official known date most contracts end? I would think that he would've been removed by now if he is out of contract.

dazzil [#11]who even can replace crashies now, any good initiators on the market?
realistically FNC would probably try look for a reputable initiator to challenge for champs. so i doubt any t2 talent would come in. only 1 i can think of is RieNs, who theyd have to buy out.

damn bro imagine fnc with riens
catNmouse [#10]leo still has long covid, he can play 1 or 2 games maximum per day
he played 8 the other day https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/don%20P%23ppp/matches?playlist=competitive&season=5adc33fa-4f30-2899-f131-6fba64c5dd3a
OldIGN [#19]I literally referenced GCD? He's still got a contract on there.
2025 implies at the end of this year (for vct its ended since champs is over) that he's out of contract
catNmouse [#10]leo still has long covid, he can play 1 or 2 games maximum per day
I mean i don't know but i tried researching on Google abt long covid and it says that people usually heal completely within like 5-6 months or so, leo hasn't been healed yet idk hwo
SENfns [#21]2025 implies at the end of this year (for vct its ended since champs is over) that he's out of contract
doesnt really mean much though, says the same for chronicle & boaster.

well do you care a lot about red bull homegrounds or what? He has no contract for next season.
Like what are you tryna cook up here?
OldIGN [#23]doesnt really mean much though, says the same for chronicle & boaster.
well they aren't guaranteed to be in fnc in 2026
but obviously its highly likely that they will be
OldIGN [#23]doesnt really mean much though, says the same for chronicle & boaster.
yes they are out of contract as well and must be re-signed by FNC. How does that not mean anything...

im so confused. what are you even saying? most likely they can re-sign leo if hes able to play like they will chronicle and boaster
Monsteiur [#17]I’m actually not religious tho, is there something wrong?
https://www.vlr.gg/24252/no-politics-religion I think hes talking about this

what the fuck does the fact that he may still have a few weeks of contract left have anything to do with where or if Leo plays in 2026?
Like yeah, its really seems you are confused here.

"Is there a chance Leo "rejoins" FNC next season" is literally the title, not "LEO IS GOING TO BE REJOINING FNC CONFIRMED FOR THE NEXT SEASON HOLY GUACAMOLE"

He also still has a contract with FNC according to GCD.
what prupose does this part serve the discussion? Like what is this supposed to imply?

it implies that he has a contract with the org still? that is set to expire during 2025, like boaster, crashies & chronicles contracts are as well. the general expectation surrounding those 3 players were that they'd be re-signed. I just brought up the question: "could his get also re-signed" because now its most likely that crashies leaves (he was never their long term player. cojo mentioned this when he signed him) which means FNC need an initiator player, leo's been grinding ranked the whole week, and him having a contract could also mean that there is a chance he rejoins the roster.

Like maybe we all get shocked and he does re-sign with FNC. I dont think so but its not impossible.
Why would his currently expiring contract have any effect on the likelihood of him signing for FNC for 2026? All the other factors you mentioned make sense and are valid.

youd assume someone who "retired" wouldnt have a contract in the first place
edit: the contract should be non-existent once you retire.
