I’m one, but i don’t think there is anyone else here that even heard of tokusatsu (outside of power rangers)
Yeah, i was hoping there would be some toku fans from the us or smth. But toku is only popular in japan or sea.
watched kyoryuger a lot as a kid, the show was very fun. It's nice to see that the cast are still doing kyoryuger stuff together despite some retiring or becoming big actor

Nvm just searched. Ryukendo is a tokusatsu series apparently.
Tokusatsu (特撮とくさつ; lit. 'special filming') is a Japanese term for live-action films or television programs that make heavy use of practical special effects. For example, power ranger is a tokusatsu. Godzilla is also a tokusatsu
Me. I found out I use to watch kamen rider ryuki when I was like 3 yrs old. Also watched geats last year which was superrrr good.
Really like ryuki and the many things it brought to the franchise. Hot take, i think geats is overrated, series was just geats and friends. Also, quick question, did you watch through tokushoutsu because these two series along side zero one and kuuga are the only one officially released outside of japan (not counting zeztz currently)
Finally, a thread about kamen rider. Anyway, my favorites is build, Sento was cooking hard
I got out of the circle when revice was running, but I watched them for a few years and it was great
zeztz is only five episodes in but i can tell, it is peak. And you can watch it on youtube (assuming you are from the US or have a US vpn)
