Would Brawk or NRG make it that far in Champions Paris 2025 VCT?

people act like brawk cant even shoot another gun, he used the sheriff and phantom a decent amount too and looked good with them too

Probably would, it’s not like he was bad without the Odin

I doubt it, they might've gotten grouped considering how close their games vs EDG and DRX were

but it's like saying "would fnatic of made the grand finals if boaster played neon every map"

They put the work in to make the Odin so good, other people tried using it and looked completely clueless, I think it was a masterclass from bonkar and brawk and people cried about the Odin way too much

no, probably not - a major reason he got this mvp was because of his unique and off-meta (new meta?) playstyle

probably not, but valorant is a game about adaptation. new metas pop up every season, sometimes multiple in one, and in order to win you need to figure it out and either a) adopt it yourself and become the very best at it or b) develop the best way to counter it

for NRG it was the former, and brawk spent a lot of time learning lineups and general odin usage so that he’d be able to be the best at it

Using Odin not as easy as it seems. People think you just go brr brr and kill everyone but using Odin actually requires good awareness of the map and good utility usage. Throughout the years, many people have used the Odin but brawk played Odin in a different way. No one was talking abt nerfing Odin before brawk. The fact that Odin might get nerfed just because of him shows how much better at using that gun he was than anyone else.

People just want to disagree and defend argument against brawk but don’t say a single word against Odin lol

Probably not - part of the reason why their corrode and lotus is as good as they are is because of brawk’s odin usage

No but he actually took his time to learn the weapon
you could hear outside opinions saying that he would vod review and see where people commonly went and then he made up the Spam for it
he also made unique sova lineups JUST to pair it with his odin

If anyone else took their time to learn it as much as he did then maybe they could've won

If you look at the abyss game yesterday for example, I'm pretty sure brawk only used the odin once or twice when they got to 11-1, he only started using it after fnatic were making the miracle comeback on defense. So in my opinion yes he (and nrg) wouldve made it far without the odin. Although he would probably not be the mvp and fnatic had a better chance of winning.

without odin spam, would FNC won so many Lotus in 2023?

Like if the meta will not change the next year and it just a bit adjustment for the harder of odin to wallbang . Brawk won't has those good asc, k/d like what he did this champions. But i think he will overcome it and NRG might even get better.
