Where has this narrative come from? Because he has multiple trophies? This guy is a decent player that I wouldn't mind having in the team I cheer for, but calling him the goat is a big stretch. He's been in teams that had very good roster for that period of time, which allowed him to win trophies ( no hate to chronicles, he had impact too). He knows how to choose his teams, and good for him, but to call him the greatest of all time is a big overreaction.
I'm not calling Aspas the goat either but at least teams play very carefully against him. He has that much of an impact, breaking records. Chronicle? I don't think so.

Yeah, that makes sense, but you can’t really take away his credit as a player either. The thing is, I feel like if it was another average player in his spot, with at least some clutch ability, the team would’ve won anyway

Ngl people who use trophies in goat discussions are weird to me. To me it doesnt matter much past your first cuz winning trophies is mostly based on your team and luck. As long as you personally play well in internationals you are good enough to be the goat to me.
