Alfajer can never be GOAT

As long as Chronicle and Alfajer are in the same team, it doesn't matter how well Alfajer plays, because when Alfajer wins, Chronicle also wins.

Bu unlike Alfajer, Chronicle has 1 extra trophy + a grand finals appearance at Champs 2021.

So only way for Alfajer to ever be in GOAT contention (hypothetically, if he keeps on shitting on everyone in the future) is if he's on a separate team than Chronicle while producing better results.

Without him we are losing to BLG. With him we humiliate the so called "Goat" and go OT vs PRX on 2 maps whilst having 0 prep. That's the difference the real Goat makes. People like Doma, nAts, Hyunmin are the kinda talents you need to beat PRX

If Chronicle started producing boaster stats consistently then alfajer would overtake him eventually. Stats matter

yes, but thing thing is if Chronicle stars producing Boaster stats, then Alfajer will never even be in GOAT contention as FNATIC will never ever be towards the top few teams in the world ever again. In no world is there where 3 players can carry two (Chronicle in this alternate scenario and Boaster) to high place finishes while pretty much every other team has 5 shooters at at worse, one weak link (not two)

Sacy was doing weak stats after 2022 but stayed on winning teams due to his experience and util. If there are 3 other shooters on the team you could get by.

Obviously i think it won't happen and chron will stay the goat

Then why is a lot of people saying aspas is the goat with less trophies? There is definitely an amount of carry job big enough for Alfajer to surpass without trophies

It might be a crazy take but I think you can argue Alfa above Chron already. Arguably during the stretch of FNC’s success 2023 Alfa was the better player, and he was crucial in winning LockIn

I mean sadly for alfajer last masters in the finals as he was the only one playing... he was so close to having the BO5 kill record, it would have been broked for sure if they go to the fith map but they did not sadly for him because he was carrying them clearly...
