jawgemo was underperforming on EG 2024 also btw, he’s had constant stinkers but no one cared enough to notice. Even on EG 2023 he’s had a lot of bad games, this is the first year where he’s actually had better performances

1.Has good teammates

Is allowed to be the star player on the roster

EG 2023 demon1 was given star treatment whereas jawg is just supposed to run in, EG 2024 the team was mid, G2 2025 Jawg is only supposed to entry for the team.

I think jawg has the potential to rival zekken aspas kaajak or something if he was given more breathing room

He was given that opportunity before Demon1 joined (literally same teammates except BcJ who was their best player before demon1 joined). He just didn’t rise to the occasion. People are blind when it comes to jaw’s career. He simply doesn’t have the mechanics to match the 3 duelists you named

if the yoru meta crumbles and they find a really insane duelist to replace him with I think they'd be a world-beating team

If they change rosters after they're incredibly consistent performances in literally every tournament they're management is sick in the head. Lots of orgs would do unspeakable things for the performance they've had this year, and they've demonstrated that they are fully capable of at least contending for a win.

Well jaw is an exceptional player and people forget that he is just as good a flex player as leaf. G2 need him as perma duelist so he is playing duelist but he can solely be picked up as a flex player on any other team.

I do think changing duelists could be an upgrade (depending on who it is obv), although I dont think its necessary. The way I see it, the team is not failing so why make changes? To win a tournament in Valo there are several factors to consider other than having good strats, top mechanics, etc. For example, luck and momentum, just look at how Bangkok went down, G2 was clearly the better team yet T1 got the win. And Im not trying to demerit T1's win, its just that Valo is such an unpredictable game, not even "perfect gameplay" is enough to win all the time.
