Transfer window in VCT

When does the Transfer window for VCT 2026 Open? I know orgs are dropping players whenever they like it but when would they be able to announce their new signings? As a SEN fan I remember SEN waiting till like 10th October last year to announce bang and narrate even tho they got leaked like 2-3 weeks ago.

Now that demon1 posted that he got signed, Asuna is hinting on another conract renewal (i think it was a joke and hes getting dropped), Saadhak is hinting at going back to Brazil etc. When can they announce the official signings? Is it when they feel like it or is there some sort of date again?

I think there is a roster lock deadline before playoffs of Stage2 or before champs, one or the other.

i really don't get it broski...

ppreviously i remember between splits & after champs roster changes were posssible, but then one team just switched in pacific playoffs (i think it was talon, but not quite sure),

but now they just seem to happen without any reason

Yeah but the season ended at the end of August last year and the opening date was still around the mid part of October. So idk

the transfer window is basically full season wide its effectively a roster lock in mid august
