Chinese team advantage?

Why do they always end so early, they get like extra 1.5 weeks for prep which tbh is enough to get like 3 maps good, there's no new year or anything as well to back this, this tbh feels kinda unfair to other teams who only get like 1 week to practice till paris

Bro thats not a good enough excuse also APAC in their first week has each team playing twice so technically APAC was also ahead in schedule by one week in comparison to other regions but we ended at the same time

They need the advantage so they have a chance of not getting grouped

Yeah Definitely u can catchup to other regions who started out like 2 years before u by giving them 1-2 extra weeks time before every international 💀💀

bro riot is literally investing way more into apac and china than emea and americans its clear they are trying to prioritize the growth of asia, china and apac has multiple offseason events a year where many of the franchise teams play while emea and Americas have some shitty koi and kcorp bo1's and "sen city",like why do u think china has some random "evo" tournament running every international break while all the other regions have nothing lol

Chinese and apac budget is more bro that's why and the reason why budget is more isn't just cause they want to uplift the region but cause the regions also give good returns, china does road shows of their vct teams did u know that, those random ass mid season vct events that happen in china , they are full arena people come to watch they like it, people in EMEA or Americas won't come to watch such events especially mid season ones . Fact is there's a chance the budget of EMEA/Americas and china/APAC is almost same it's just that eu and Americas is expensive af bro, riot holds Americas in LA , do u know how expensive LA is? Or even berlin is? Meanwhile I can easily say that the venues in korea or china will be way cheaper than that this leaving out budget for other stuff

John Riot loves China money and clout, they need to do everything in their power to help the chinese teams go deeper in the tournaments

Because Riot doesn't have the budget, EMEA and NA still use the same studio as the league of legend, and that's telling. Both regions have no money for more matches. Remember, Valorant's esports is running at a loss, especially in the West. The game is definitely making money, but why should they spend more money to expand into bigger studios (And to the esports scene when it's just good enough as a game advertisement? )

Look how long it took them, actually, to fix their PC at EMEA. They had to accommodate the same staff and the same dogwater PC that runs both games. Now, tell me how they could end the season faster? With that shitty closed-in studio that has zero fans? Might as well make it online at that point.

It's just a straight-up scheduling conflict. LPL and VCT CN are completely separate stadiums, aka there's literally zero conflict, no matter how fast or how slow they do it (They still avoid it, but they don't run into the whole production issue). Pacific comes close, but it's vct kr with LCK for a reason.

The host of VCT CN is not Riot itself. It is TJ Sports, a subsidiary of Tencent. They have significantly greater independence than the other leagues.
