I don't think it's that at all. Didn't KK say he doesn't like yoru cause he feels like a baiter? EDG's playstyle when they won champs was all about prying open gaps in their opponents' lines, which is what dive duelists do best. Yoru is more about attrition and slowly removing options from the opponent

yoru meta isn't real. there isn't a single map in this game that requires him. teams that are macro-heavy and slower paced are just comfortable dropping the kay/o-esque agents for extra lurk value
