Why is everybody rating Sacy so low? When I think of the GOAT’s Sacy is probably #2 or #3 right behind BuZz. Like yeah, I get his fragging wasn’t insane, but that’s not his job. I would say Sacy is the best initiator of all time. His utility setting up Zekken & Aspas was always elite. Zekken even said once that without Sacy he would not be able to do his job as well as he was.

I’m convinced none of y’all watched SEN sacy play, shaking everywhere crouch spraying every gunfight, dying first on initiator or dying as the solo player on the map randomly, going negative 70% of the time, especially when sen had a close match. LOUD sacy was insane and SEN sacy was still good (comms, leadership, clutch) but he is NOT the goat.

Zekken last week was begging Sacy to do a VOD review with him so he could become a better player
Masters Madrid win had INSANE Sacy clutches in the most crucial moments

Sacy basically the mentor of Aspas, Less and Zekken
He constantly went negative as the initiator. If you can’t trade kills or pick up crucial kills consistently it doesn’t matter how good you are, it still negatively affects your team. I need you to go back and actually watch some of the old sen matches, especially outside of Madrid.
At the end of the day, this is an fps game. If you shoot someone they die and that makes the round much easier than any thing else.
There is also his historical importance of being the godfather of an entire region. He was the first (alongside saadhak) that learned how to actually play Valorant in 2021 (VKS Sacy) and bring his knowledge to one of the worst regions in Valorant (Brazil), our region was a joke before LOUD.
He was the one that built LOUD 2022 and created Aspas and Less to become world class players. Imo, revisionism is to take away his achievements because he was whiffing in some games on SEN while ignoring everything else
He is in LA right now and asked for permission to Frod to help the MIBR guys for Champions 2025 in Paris, which Frod agreed. He was also the one that built this MIBR project to help Aspas after the BLEED thing. Bro is retired and he is still trying to help Brazil win
Kk putting china in the map is more impressive. Tenz has even more impact on the game, inspiring an entire generation of duelists and essentially building valorant as a whole. Regardless, I don’t think this should matter in a goat list. Goat list is about the game, because you can control how good you are at the game. It’s harder to control how popular or influential you are because that’s partially luck and timing (being first/being a pioneer), so why should that affect a goat list?
Because its >Greatest< of all time not Best. There is a lot greatness points that goes beyond just shooting the head on the videogame. In Counter-Strike, for example, people still put s1mple above Zywoo because of "Cultural Impact".
Yes, KK put china on the map, Aspas put brazil on the map, Tenz put Valorant on the map, sure, and you can put all those names as greater players than Sacy, no problem, but Sacy is still a name to be respected and recognized as one of the greats.
He was the first player to win everything possible in Valorant: VCT Brazil(region), VCT Americas(international league), Masters (international tournament) and Champions (World Championship). He cant do that by just "getting carried", especially when you consider everything his teammates said about him all the time
Even the Fnatic guys never won Champions, while Sacy has both Masters and Champions. No org in this game has both yet, and we're already 5 years into the game
Chronicle is more impressive to me if we are talking purely in game. He was the best player in the world in 2021, winning one trophy and going to champs finals, changed teams and won two trophies back to back while flexing to multiple different roles, continued to be one of the most flexible players in the game and once again got a second place in the last two international tourneys 4 YEARS after his first.
All the while he has had extremely high peaks and consistency domestically and regionally, every team he has been on is a trophy contender. He’s never been carried to a trophy, he’s hardly ever had a bad tournament in his career. To me that automatically puts him above sacy.
You can tell the difference in player quality when both were on struggling teams as well. Sacy in 23 << chronicle in 22.
Chronicle was not even the best player on his team in 2021, that was prime nAts year. In prime Fnatic 2023 he was Fnatic's FOURTH best player, he was only better than Boaster. He only ever played in superteams, while Sacy actually took kids from ranked in the worst region and won the trophy Chronicle never won. Chronicle lost to Kiles
Im not saying Sacy is the GOAT of Valorant, im just against this idea of diminishing Sacy's legacy and SEN Sacy impact
ppl dont rate sacy very highly cuz he was never a star player on his teams the thing is most ppl who play the game are plat - dia who dont truely understand the value of initiators and the intangibles a player like sacy or crashies can bring so ya I say anywhere between 5th to 9th is the perfect position for sacy and its also like ya if u vod review are pro its usually a star duelist player or star sentinel player or very rarely its smokes or initiator so ya I am talking abt community on this point
