After turbulent results in the first two stages of the year, Giants made a number of roster changes, one of which included moving pipsoN to a coaching role within the team. Going into the second half of the year, Giants began to find their stride when they made a deep run in Stage 3 Challengers 2, where their event highlights included surprise wins over Fnatic and Team Liquid in the upper bracket to guarantee themselves a spot in the EMEA Challengers Playoffs.
In the EMEA Challengers Playoffs, Giants were knocked down to the lower bracket early after a upper bracket defeat at the hands of Oxygen Esports, but continued full steam ahead against their lower bracket competition, securing wins against Natus Vincere and Guild Esports to put them within a single series win of heading to Masters: Berlin. Unfortunately, the team fell short in their match against G2 Esports, marking the end of their run in the tournament and VCT competition in 2021, as the 50 points they accumulated from the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs were not enough to qualify them for the EU LCQ.
Giants recently came in third place in the Red Bull Home Ground #2, defeating Futbolist in the quarterfinals but falling short in their semifinals match against Acend. In the consolation final, they defeated TENSTAR 2-0, putting themselves in the top five teams in the European rankings.
