out of the 12 winning igls weve had 7 of them have played flash init during their winning run. of the remaining 5 2 of them played dueilist during their winning run, and 1 of them played chamber during their winning run.

Out of the 12 winning igls only 2 of them never played a role typicaly said to be detremental to igls (FNC Boaster who only played smokes and SEN JohnQT who played Sentinel and Viper)

Hot take but I don't think the roles matter on igls it really just depends on how you call some are somewhat more successful than others as provided by your example but you shouldn't limit igling to 1 role

Most of these were not playing majority flash ini though. Nobody and stax in particular were mostly recon and just filled in for flashes depending on the comp (if at all)

It's a different role than being someone like s1mon who was attached to Kangkang's hip just throwing util for him

nobody;s only flash initiator is skye, i dont think he really counts especially since he became full time scan after s1mon joined and formed the winning roster

most of these filled flash inti i think the whole thing is mainly that igl shouldn't be on kayo cause he is the highest skill inti he doessn't need extra shit to do dont give me old head example they are plumbers

Like Galactc said earlier, I don't think roles matter for IGLs as much, as many of them also tend to be pseudo flexes. But playing anything other than Duelist as an IGL is probably the way to go. It also comes down to the strength of roles within the team as rarely is the IGL the fragger
