Why is nobody talking about it and also how stupid the iso shield is. They have no place in the game.
It takes 1hp of damage to break the Iso shield. Literally could have a teammate with a rifle just prefire, throw damaging abilities or even just wait out the shield. It's an awp counter, but it really isn't that strong. Neon's constant movement is more of a difficult problem since it regens quite fast throughout the round.
Its not just that, it's the whole damned agent. His vulni suppresses my tp, headhunter, and ult. And same with his ult. And for some reason he can bring his shield into his ult so if I'm awping I have to jump shot him with a shorty to break his shield and then hope I can awp him. He's just such a hard counter to my agent it's so frustrating.
Others literally showed you his counter. Damaging util, waiting it out, don't take 1v1 fights, flash then shoot as long as it isn't an OP, literally the outlaw counters him very well. I'm not even that good at the game and I gave you all these solutions. Now stop whining just because you are an op crutch. You are crashing out because you can't do what you always did to get kills without any skill whatsoever.
the solutions you mentioned completely negate what chamber is all about. chamber is supposed to get an early pick or bait out util, and be able to escape. having to use damaging util, waiting it out completely, or not taking 1v1s shuts down the option for early aggression almost entirely. and not using the awp is stupid too because that's literally one of the focal points about his kit, he's supposed to be using that gun to utilize the agent effectively.
basically, you guys are only proving my point that iso negates the entire niche that chamber has. your "solutions" only prove how hard iso shuts down chamber by having to do all sorts of gymnastics when the character is already out of meta as it stands.
You do realise that part of the game is retaking. Like it or not, you will have to retake. Better to retake as a team than to die solo because you thought you were playing old Chamber where you can just hold a site by yourself with an operator.
The suppress is pretty useful and it is literally intended to open space and punish people who might hold a tight angle or off angle.
As for your complaint that "Iso's util does not have an easy counter" - his shield is literally breakable with 1HP of damage. You can blind shot a molly or shock dart or anything else which damages and it breaks his shield nullifying it's utility until he gets a kill - which by the way is a lot harder without his shield tanking a hit.
You complain that Iso counters how Chamber plays and you're mostly right. However, you can still take that early aggression with a teammate. You have to make more conscious decisions throughout the match rather than depend on your agent alone to hold a site. Remember, Valorant is a team game. You have to pick and pull apart your opponents to get the best results.
You complain that your pocket pick has a counter - why not try different agents at the same time. You are not meant to have one instalock and expect to win every game. And even if you still think you can play one instalock, you should embrace the challenge of playing against a hard counter like Iso.
far from the only agents to break the rules.
they're fine, you just gotta play different vs them than you would a Jett or Raze. Yoru is the same but people just self-justify they got outskilled vs him instead of complaining. All three you should be sitting and figuring out what spots would be better when you get util'd by them rather than getting mad. People are just more used to Raze/Jett so they react more instinctively.
A bit unrelated but I actually don't get the yoru narrative he's lowkey one of the more skilless agents in the game he's 2.5 roles at once he can entry set others up and obtain info as well as being somewhat alright at holding down areas you can literally never go wrong playing him in any situation at least to me
He takes a lot of coordination, well thought out and considered risk taking, and you've got to have a lot of time with his flashes to be using them properly for your team.
If you just do everything baity and selfish yeah he's piss easy but that's not getting the value from his kit so it doesn't really matter.
I don't even bait I typically get baited but since I entried/set somebody else up and grabbed an orb for my 4 round cooldown ult I get a lot of value with no skill I honestly think this just stems from people forgetting he got reworked like 4 years ago and still using clickbait titles about how skilled he is
