It's been an amazing ride Ricky! Thank you for all fun memories and we wish you the best of luck in your next journey 💙
floppy's inactivity on the Cloud9 Blue active roster has been an open secret within the Valorant community, with the player's last official dating all the way back to early July. In his place, Michael "poiz" Possis returned to the active roster, with Ricky "floppy" Kemery later being acquired by the organization.
Previously, floppy had played for Cloud9's "colossus" roster in CS:GO before the organization shuttered their CS:GO division, and remained on the organization's bench until transferring to their Valorant team in mid-April.
Cloud9 Blue remain a team with six players on the active roster, a rare sight with historically little permanence in the Valorant scene. The roster are locked into the North American Last Chance Qualifier, vying for their first LAN event and a return to full strength under the leadership of vanity.
In a TwitLonger, floppy revealed his mental state due to COVID-19 and FPS burnout as key reasons for his departure and dwindling motivation to compete. He announced he'll be taking a break to explore his options, and is remains open to streaming, continuing Valorant, or potentially returning to CS:GO.
