I'm pretty sure they do it on purpose, after all they want as much viewership as possible. It's like how big boxing matches have some smaller event going on before what everyone wants to see. It helps them get higher viewer retention

The point is, Riot acts all innocent "I dindu nuffin teehee :3" about this situation and that's what pisses me off. I truly believe that Riot is Sukuna-type evil. And it doesn't help viewer retention. It destroys viewership. Which leads me to believe that they do this because they are sadistic little fucks who cross their legs and smirk watching the international viewers suffer, probably thinking "Let's see how much these guys love us"

Yeah it'd also be better if they didn't start the matches so late. I'm in NA and the games start at 5 p.m. for me which is already towards the end of the day. I can't imagine the times for people in Europe or Asia
