It's a lack of leaders.
Always had the mechanical talents Brazil just lacks the conductor who could make the pieces work in tandem.
(correct me if im wrong but Brazil didnt have as many igls switch over compared to the likes of NA).

-no good leaders in tier 2
-all the good practice went to LA
-some players dont wanna leave to a country that doesnt speak their language and get homesick

only hope for latin american (including brazilians) in tier 2 is to get in a LATAM North team for the opportunity to scrim the tier 2 NA teams and some Americas teams. Its the reason why RETA's roster is setup the way it is rn.

i never even said the talent was COMPLETELY promising, im just mentioning why its the way it is. i mean, if a team with murizzz and nagz is at the top, there's deep rooted issues LOL.

Well, we had two of our best players going to Sentinels, and arguably our best player leaving for Leviathan. So basically Brazil exported more players to Latam and NA than the other way around, is more difficult to have a stacked roosters, not even counting Heat on Krü. Also the franchise system gives more vantage to NA tier 2 teams.

to be honest, brazil region is far superior in player quality and igling to the north americans...

it's just that ri0t decided to nerf the entire latam + br region to give the bots in NA a chance at winning something... no practice for the tier 2 scene and giving the org spots to shit ass teams

still, furia mibr and loud are 10 times better in player quality than the bronze players of c9, EG and 100t

i mean without the only major import brazil wouldn't be as far as it is while LATAM would be relatively similar and americas slightly worse, although i am definitely surprised we haven't seen more non-brazilians on brazilian teams
