can we all agree that their map pool seems fine now? i know people were calling them out for only being good on split and sunset.

Split is still good.
Bind is improved and looks good.
Lotus is good.
Sunset is good.
Icebox looks good now.
Breeze still not the best but I see improvement.
Ascent also doesn't look that bad anymore.

they seem to be competent on every map besides maybe breeze

from both teams their display was mid considering how good both teams played that map. sen from kickoffs would've closed it out without making those same mistakes and with a shorter scoreline.

when u down 2-1 in a series in a grand final u gotta be shakey asf same with geng being up and only needing won to close the game

GenG were 5-1 on icebox then got shit on when SEN was like 0-3 on it. either the nerves got to GenG or that map is just dogshit lol

Well u cant judge a team like that.Geng played vs pacific teams for the most part.So its gonna be skewed.Sen lost in icebox in a close fashion to loud.

GenG had a hot streak on that map in kickoff and winning close series i think it skewed their perception of themselves on it but they are pretty solid on that map they have good ideas i think it was more just nerves here once they loss the 2nd pistol and they saw the scoreline slipping away they all tried to make hero plays to get them back in the game which is very uncharacteristic i dont blame them i think this was an experience diff gen g in my mind when they are playing at their best look better than sentinels also today nobody was really shooting like they normally do munchkin and karon had really impactful clutches but t3xture never really took the game into his hands like he normally does

Icebox is the most puggy map, strats matter less and momentum + mental + whoever hits their shots matters more

also GenG lost icebox to EDG of all teams so it was never out of the question for SEN to win it anyway

I don't agree they won but that doesn't make them great on every map they still need more work and on other days where the stakes are lower they won't show up like today

we gotta stop pacific hate like they have low lows cuz a lot of teams lack experience but they defiantly leveled up from last year and secret, rrq, t1, drx all look like they could make it to a lan and be competitive its not the best region by any means but its not like you could drop a mid tier na team in pacific and they would win every series

When they originally lost to Gen G on Split, they werent really themselves, and that day they were kinda seeming different than usual tbh. Also when they lost to PRX on split, PRX just had individuals, like Monyet and Forsaken pulling off multikiils that theyd make every 20 matches and honestly that was kinda a fluke as well imo. (also this is all my opinion, I will admit i tend to exaggerate a lot)

Also they do need a lot of work still on both ascent and breeze, and honestly after the th lost a while back they could stand to practice sunset more

breeze is their worst map rn they need to fully rework that map other than that every other map sen looks comfortable on
