why do low fragging igls love slow plays

every single low fragging igl (except benkai my goat) loves playing some rounds like a geriatric hospice patient. genuinely they just waste time and lose rounds because of it. I don't understand why they do this like it cannot be fun to look at a wall for 20 seconds while you wait for your teammates to walk half the map

that’s how EU plays… and it’s been like that for awhile. even the goat igl sadhaak and sacy said it’s easy to beat them when all they do is heavy default

Nah, disregard the stereotype, some Fortnite players are really smart. It would take the right person, but that’s the same case for anybody from any game.

boaster's been shooting back though. but agree, cs default is good because all the util is nonrenewable, and you have to deny information constantly, maps are bigger, round length is 15s longer as well. i wouldn't say defaulting is bad, it's only bad if you don't get anything out of it, all teams have a default

I don't think fns has talked about it, i might be wrong tho.
but saadhak does say EU teams are easy to counter since they play alot by the "book" always heavy defaulting, for him its easier to deal with that than dealing with the PRX W key and chinese teams.

Yeah FNS thinks he's a mastermind for heavy defaulting and also claims that it is objectively the best way to play the game.

idk if it is now…. but i feel like in the chamber meta and astra meta it definitely was, but the teams that were at the top last year didn’t really default as much besides fnatic and they were good at the start but fell after midway

slow play is just safer, sometimes you gotta play to not lose before you can play to win

because playing slow allows u to mess with rotations and get into the site that has less people. when u play fast u r kind of just gambling.
