Do you all feel like single elim final bracket is bad?
What if the best teams get matched up first round, then they are shit outta luck.

For me its fine if its only semifinal playoffs. If Its like quarter final playoffs it should be bo3 double elim with lower bracket final & grand final bo5.
It would not hurt to make the finals a group stage no? Would take 5 games instead of 3, would give teams a lifeline and make it more fair. I don't get how riot is moving backwards to 2021, where we had ditched single elim.

Group stage would mean 6 games and you don't have a grand final so the viewership wouldn't be where they want it I guess.
Edit: Group stage doesn't mean round robin, you meant double elim. My bad.
it's terrible, it screws over 2nd best team
(or even 1st best team in case they lose to 2nd best team)
If 2 best teams happen to face each other in palyoffs - gg for the region, we now send 1st and 3rd best teams instead of 2 strongest teams.
