India's valorant situation (allat)

The last thing I want to is to seem racist, however I feel like I need to talk about this argument.

I see many Indians on this site that keep yapping that a full Indian roster could do wonders of any kind.

The Indian scene rn is very bad (imo) and does not have many players ready to play in T1.

Although I think there are better talents than Russ, he's probably the best Indian player to have on a franchising roster due to his experience.

GE does not have a full Indian roster because there aren't many indian players good enough for franchising. It's not a complot.

India's best T2 team went 0-4 in 2023 ascension.

Now if from now on India's valorant scene improves a lot and gets great results, I'll be the first to be happy for the fanbase and for the players, but until then, this is the situation.

Stop yapping like India has great talents, it's just false.

And I want to underline that this does not come from a position of hate, after all I understand what it means for your country to suck at valorant, I'm in your same position. So don't keep telling lies to yourselves :)

I think we all know that indian players suck dick

But as long as they dont face better players, they will always be bad. You need to beat the best, to be the best

The best solution is to get a 5 man roster, really thats all GE have to do.

The esports scene is still pretty much in development stage in India. Unless people are more willing to see esports as an actual career line, it can take some time to produce tier 1 talents who can compete at the highest level.

I believe with the right amount of support and management staff, we can produce talents just like any other region.

Needless to say, scrims with better apac teams are a must

"they will get 0-10ed fasho LMAOOOO" yeah bro thats the point you dumb ass

The easiest way to improve is to put yourself out of your comfort zone. Its like playing against the same 200 elo bot all the time and then expecting to crush a 2000 elo bot in chess bcuz you did good against a 200 elo bot

Results can only be produced if you back a core of players for quite some time. The constant changes will never help evolve the region unless they somehow make a miracle run

I disagree strongly tbf. We all have seen how the fanbase reacted to skrossi not being a good player (what a surprise). If they put a full Indian stack I think they would get insulted for life, and although players don't want to admit it, what people say online can have very bad effects over the player's mental health, stress etc.

Not even in T2 SA there are many 5 stack indians teams and often times the best players are those imports (non indian players). That's definitely not a coincidence.

Bro i dont think any pro actually cares about hate and criticism on social media. Nobody who is seriously trying to be a top player atleast

BBL did it, DFM did it, mibr did it. Its not some type of cheat code to have a 5 man roster. We just want to see 5 indians representing us, whether they win or lose is another topic.

I dont really understand what the point is that youre trying to make. Indian players are bad, we know that. And now?

We need improvement. And that can only be done by exposing our best players to the top stage so they can evolve and motivate more people to train hard and improve the region as a whole

If no Indian players get experience on the tier 1 stage, they will never get better. Riot never gave a chance to India to compete in 2021 and it has handicapped it to this day. In the entire first year of valorant, only 1 team was given a chance to play against other international teams (In which they arguably did pretty good).

Franchising is there to help this fact out. You get to play 10 games of T1 Valorant regardless of how shit you are. This gives experience and eventually, you grow better.

Just look at what happened with APAC and 2022 Japan (Although even RN Zeta is pretty solid). Just give em slots every time and they will get good.

What GE needed to do was keep the original GE roster, kick kappa, get a cracked English-speaking sova on a huge paycheck, and snipe some of the best coaches from around the world. (Remember what Shinobi did during APAC LCQ 2021).

Do you know what’s crazy not having an Indian in Franchise who carried global esports ass for Two years with shitty teammates like kappa and hellranger and having some whitewashed Indian💀

Most Indian guys know our players are bad lol. We just want full Indian rosters because its not like the international ones are qualifying for anything, they're just as bad. It's much better to field full Indian rosters because even if they lose all matches, atleast the scene will grow and T2 players will have better motivation to do well. Trust me absolutely no body would clamor for an Indian roster if the international ones were doing better.

I'm just saying as an Italian I wouldn't want a 5 stack Italy team in franchising to get ridiculed by everyone lol.

Maybe we just have different ways of reasoning 🤷‍♂️

I can see that having a 5 man team getting shit on is humiliating but you cannot always play the safe card

Success always involves taking risks, the ones who are not afraid to take risks are usually the ones who will be successful. The easist example is cryptomillionaires / stock investors

There is no guarantee that exposing a group of 5 Indians will improve them. It can affect them mentally and demotivate them too. I feel the current T2 scene is still the right way to go, there is only one way to grow Indian esports and that is slowly, there is no fast track guaranteed way in this.

Secondly, it's franchise league. If I really had to give an example to Indians, it's IPL not Ranji Trophy(although there isn't a Ranji Trophy type of deal in Valorant).

I understand that seeing the current GE roster lose will dishearten you, make you think that we are losing, might as well lose with Indians, but now the GE approach will be to keep improving rosters and not completely nuke them and create a new one each year. And so the only thing they can ask is patience from us
