why are people arguing... valorant is a newer game so younger people will play it. they have disposable time and most people who played csgo are older and probably in university or have a job. most dont have time to play games. its just facts. both games are just preference. maybe things would be different if cs was released last year like valorant

Why would anyone want to play cs when it would be a cheater infested haven. Since it released last year it wouldn't have a dedicated player base to make faceit servers and the pro scene would be 1/20 the size of valorants. If both cs and valorant released at the same time playing cs would literally be like playing the roblox rip off version of a game.

The two games will always get compared though just because of how Valorant was marketed and labeled as the CSGO killer and how the game is pretty much based off CS and OW.
Diehard CS fans do suck, but I just find it ironic that Valorant players accuse CS players of being like “frogs or fanboys” while they continue to do the same thing to Valorant. I used to not think it was that bad till I went on Valorant Twitter in NA and it’s just a bunch of kids shit talking CS or actually reading Valorant twitch chat. Even got kids in CS chats spamming CS dead game lol
Like I said, I know there are retards from HLTV, but there has never been 8 recent posts at one time all about Valorant on HLTV. There are retards from both sites indeed. It's just ironic and funny how kids that play Valorant act like they don't hate on CS. Wonder if they realize Valorant wouldn't exist without CS.
Honestly bro you probably picked the worst match to watch yesterday. VP is probably the most boring team to watch. They play like it’s valorant or R6 and wait till 15-20 seconds every round to execute to a site and if all fails you watch Jame (VP AWPER) save lol. It was a good game. The Faze game was better IMO.
What a cheap argument. Football looks the same after 10 years and its still the biggest sport in the world. (CSGO in 2012 didnt had any map it has today, it had worse hitbox, worse sounds, guns were more unbalanced. There is not much that difference but still) You watch Valorant nowadays and its shit. You gonna watch it 10 years later and it will be still shit.
CS and Val have its ups and downs
Val has default 128 tick servers
CS has a market for skins and other items (since its a game made by Valve)
Val has a night market at the end of the szn where skins are cheaper
CS has community servers which are fun to play
Either way, I dont mind playing either game
Val skins are expensive af though. You can build a nice inventory on CS for the amount of one bundle on Valorant and the fact you can sell them when you don’t want them anymore makes a huge difference imo. I just think Val skins are ridiculously overpriced for things you can’t sell. Only things that are cheaper are knives. A knife I bought on CS back in 2019 at 140 is now worth 300. Buying CS skins is almost like an investment haha
A lot of CS skins are investments which make them more valuable in the end and more desirable. Valorant skins are definitely better just for what they offer, but they have less value because there isn't an actual market where you can sell the skins for varying price points. Granted, Valorant isn't marketed towards that and they probably wouldn't want to lose out on potential sponsers.
Csgo skins. Are literally just some paint put on the base skin model. Like I don't know what there is too like about them. There is no different feel to the gun. It's not exciting. It's overall just kinda boring. Like I get why people want a return on money. But do you actually like those skins. I personally don't. Like even the ones that are like over 10 thousand dollars. I don't find them interesting. It just feels like paint on the base model. In valorant they at least change the model for the gun and they do have sound effects. Personally sound is something I value a ton because I am a musician and I swear to god ion sounds like butter to my ears whenever I use it. I guess that's just my opinion. But I just find Csgo skins as just a currency, practically bitcoin. Like there's no difference from investing in bitcoin or getting a csgo skin. Both are boring. Both are practically an investment. And both are something I'm not interested in. Like what do you think is more fun. Getting some new clothes or investing in bitcoin. I think getting some new clothes is more fun. At least for me. That's my argument. I can see why you would disagree with me. But I just don't find Csgo skins interesting.
One thing though. The csgo knife skins are poggers. That's all I'll say. That's the one thing I would say is worth it.
But like look at some of the expensive af skins. What about their design is even close to the amount of detail that valorant has. Dragon Lore I guess has some sense because it's practically impossible to get unless you have insane luck or some other things. But still it's practically just a currency. Like there's nothing cool about it other than the price of it.
