What in the fuck is this, where is the fluid animation that people were talking about, this looks like SNK animation
uwukitten [#2]mid animation and mid plot 😭pick one
mid soundtrack too, wtf is this background song in a fight 😭😭😭
michaelisupset [#7]it’s ghosting, happens when anime airs in japan on certain channels. it’s to prevent epilepsy episodes
How do u prevent that then?

it looks weird even without the ghosting tbh, but maybe that's just becuz it's not a important fight at all
juugobr_ [#11]And people were saying it has better animation than season 1. I find jjk mid series at best but for a fan to see this shit must be heartbreaking. and i remember people gassing up this arc saying it's the best in the manga
From what i heard, the 3 weeks break from Gojo's past arc to this was to finish some episodes, that says a lot 💀

so the production team are facing schedule issues? not new from Mappa. This studio butchered chainsaw man and has been doing the same to Jujutsu. fuck the health of the employee

And those who were saying that were right. The first couple of episodes of season 2 looked way better than season 1. Sadly these last few episodes have been looking worse and worse.
Okami_J [#8]How do u prevent that then?
you can’t. gotta wait for blu ray to come out to find the unghosted version

I dont think so. i think the direction and compositing have been better than s1's but the animation looked more fluid in season 1. and if we talk about the fight choreography season 1 is miles better and i think it's the core of jujutsu. out of its fights it has nothing more to offer so if the fights keep downgrading like this people wont watch it
Netero [#21]Yeah when it comes to battle shonens you have to wait like a year so streaming services update to the blu ray versions. A Pokemon episode in 1998 gave a bunch of kids in Japan seizures so they have to do shit like this to meet tv regulations. With that being said Wit > Mappa
P O R Y G O N
jonny05 [#25]nah he died thats just kenjaku. :(
oh u already know, yea but he makes a little appearence by taking control of his body for a second, he even tries to strangle himself to stop Kenjaku :c
Okami_J [#17]I js watched the ep and 2 things
- I love jjk my fav show and loved the ep and im hyped for next week
- Yall complaining way too much it was still enjoyable to watch (tho i am gonna hopefully rewatch on bluray)
this is episode was trash, u are lying if u say otherwise
they stretched it out so fucking much just so they can hold the incident one more episode
manga clears

Season 1 did absolutely not have more fluid animation than what season 2 has had. Season 1’s animation outside of fights was very stiff. I agree that the fight choreography has been worse though, which was to be expected with Sunghoo Park no longer being the director. He’s basically the best in the business in that aspect, but I think what Gosso has brought has nonetheless been a huge improvement. The color design and art direction have been way more pleasing, the storyboards have been very dynamic, the direction incredibly inspiring, the compositing miles better. Even the fight choreography for the first 5 episodes was almost on par with season 1, and it’s only in the latest episodes that it’s been noticeably worse, although still not bad. I personally think that these aforementioned things matter more than fight choreography although I’m not sure what other people think matters more.

you seem to have more knowledge than me so i will take your words but the my eye tests liked season 1 fluidity way more so far
also while i agree Gosso is a better director than Park overall, fights doesnt seem to be his speciality, he is too experimental and likes to work with complex angles, i find it beautiful and all but jjk doesnt look like the right anime for it. in the end the fights are what matter the most in this show
