im curious on why they are rated super high, I really like them but I feel like they are overrated. The only good teams they beat were edg and loud and loud went 13-2 against them on their own map choice. Am I missing something.
also i think edg is kinda overrated lol. they didnt beat anyone good in champs and in tokyo, there weren't a lot of info so they beat loud who werent looking too hot and overrated navi

They took EG to 5 maps in a close series with CGRS playing instead of something. If EG was considered to be top 2 back then, PRX can be considered top 3. People have been rating PRX as top 3 since Tokyo. People expect PRX to play better with something, which is why they rate them so high now. With Fnatic getting dropped down to lowers, people started to believe that PRX could win the event.

most people believe they are going to beat eg and win the whole tournament even though they really didn't face anyone good except loud. so obviously I think they are overrated. and when I mean most, I mean most. there was a chart(idk from where but tacticalrab went over it) and paperrex had the highest chance of winning the event.

They are not overrated. There are people who support each of the 4 remaining teams. I think whoever wins the EG vs PRX upper final will win the grand final. The stat you saw about PRX having more support is just because the team has more supporters. It's not the same as being overrated.

They have come out of a decently tough bracket facing loud who beat fnc vs eg who haven’t had any competition at all so far(still having close maps) so yeah people think they got it

I support them because the org is based in where I live, but most people rate them highly because they revolutionized a style of playing that no one would expect to work in tactical FPS shooters like Valorant. Of course they tend to troll at times as well but they are cracked nevertheless.

As for their matchups, both EG and FNC had an easier run than PRX, only LOUD had an extremely difficult bracket

PRX were not contenders in Tokyo only because they had to play with an immortal 3 sub, and had to cast aside their double duelist comps to accommodate CGRS 1-trick Geko (Still baffles me how they narrowly lost 2-3 to EG with such a roster).

Idk what you're on about. PRX were rated 2nd in power rankings coming into VCT Champions. Even EG put PRX up with LOUD and FNC

And EG was taken to 5 maps in a close series by a team playing with a sub. They even changed their comps to accommodate the sub. It's not criminal to assume that PRX could do better with something. Both EG and PRX would have improved from Tokyo. We will know tomorrow. None of the 4 teams are overrated.
