C0m has aura of a lurking rat

posted 2 weeks ago

Nah bruv Talon almost lost to GE it aint worth the odds. I might consider if it is 3.5x

posted 2 weeks ago

Outcome is dependent on the following variables

Variable 1: Cracked Ange1 or washed Ange1
Variable 2: Has Ardiis been fed well before the match

posted 2 weeks ago

VIT and LOUD too high, swapped them with DRX and LEV. Also, C9 and 100T looks better than T1 / DFM

1-5: SEN, NRG, NAVI, PRX, GENG

6-10: LEV, DRX, FUT, TH, KC

11-15: LOUD, FNC, VIT, 100T, C9

16-20: T1, DFM, G2, TL, RRQ, KRU

21-26: GX, BBL, TS, ZETA, EG

27-33: MIBR, FURIA, KOI, TLN, GE, BLD, M8

Edit: I left NAVI in 1-5 just so OP wouldn't mald but I'd place them in 6-10*

posted 2 weeks ago

In the unlikely event that T1 or TS don't win any of their remaining matches, Alpha Group playoff slots will be reallocated to Omega Group as well since they don't meet the 2 Win requirement?

TS Remaining Matches 1W 2L
TS vs PRX (20 TS PRX 80)
TS vs DFM (60 TS DFM 40)
TS vs Talon (60 TS Talon 40)

T1 Remaining Matches 1W 3L
T1 vs Talon (70 T1 Talon 30)
T1 vs Zeta (60 T1 Zeta 40)

Aspas, can't find a reason to hate him

posted 3 weeks ago

I'd still give him the benefit of doubt. You could put Demon1 in BLEED and they could've gone 0-10 as well, the problem is the org and team as a whole.

posted 3 weeks ago

He's definitely better than Retla ngl but having him wouldn't have changed BLEED's situation. Also kinda cringe that he was waiting to type this once BLEED lost, it defeats the whole message of his tweet and just makes him look bad

posted 3 weeks ago

I am neither a DFM hater or supporter, but we'll see if your statement holds true over their next few runs

posted 3 weeks ago

It's not one or the other, you need a good team overall in terms of vibe and mechanical talent. LEV could've been demolished by SEN if Aspas had an off day and nobody else stepped up. There are challenges with the language barrier, but if Meiy joins a good international org with players of his calibre, he'd be way better than wasting his prime years trying to carry a team of average players

posted 3 weeks ago

Nah you need a good team overall, not just one single top fragging player to carry the rest on his back. DFM has improved a lot but if the rest can't keep up to Meiy's pace, they have no chance of getting into playoffs, let alone Shanghai. Something in Sengoku back then is a good example of this. Likewise, if Lev leaves everything up to Aspas, they won't get far into the tournament as well

Pu-chan clears

posted 3 weeks ago

Team Singapore is missing but doesn't matter cuz everyone else sucks except jinggg

posted 3 weeks ago

DFM going to surpass everyone's expectations but its GEN 2 - 1 DFM.

posted 3 weeks ago

I feel that EMEA audience has a certain fetish watching their players hold angles for the 1st minute just for their favourite teams to lose to underdogs because everything is a coin flip

posted 3 weeks ago

I think they should keep Monyet as a sub for smokes when Mindfreak underperforms

posted 3 weeks ago

OP probably isnt, but just saying because there are a number of Japanese people flaming Xccurate on twitter

posted 3 weeks ago

Didn't watch the video but based on your transcript, this was before Madrid? Hope his mentality has changed

posted 3 weeks ago

Idk why some of you JP fans are so angsty over him announcing an injury, its not like his injury downplays DFM's win in any way. He could very well just be giving an explanation for his poor performance during that match. It's not like he said DFM was trash or that T1 would have won if he wasn't injured. It seems like the very fans of DFM themselves are assuming that DFM's win was a fluke just based on his statement alone.

To add on to the hypocrisy, it appears that there wasn't as much fuss when ZETA previously said their performance was poor during the match after they lost, why isn't that an excuse as well? As much as I respect the JP fanbase and DFM's (particularly Meiy)'s win, this just shows the ugly side of fans as well

posted 3 weeks ago

Glad you're happy being the winner of most boring region to watch

posted 3 weeks ago

EMEA has great aim but the games are slow af. I swear they'd still be holding corners in Shanghai when the rest of the region has gone to Seoul for champions

posted 3 weeks ago

Retla just isn't cut out for Tier 1, not sure what did BLD even see in him

posted 3 weeks ago

2-4

posted 4 weeks ago

At least more so than DFM

posted 4 weeks ago

Idk tbh, beating Scarz doesn't really mean much until we see them play in t1 scene. Juicy and Nephh had to leave for military service anyway, there is a lack of talents and a lack of opportunities to groom talents here so after Jinggg retires we are just going to ride on imports

posted 4 weeks ago

Pretty sure the last time they made it past groups was in 2022

posted 4 weeks ago

There are no talented vlr players in Singapore except Jinggg, we probably wouldn't find someone like him in the next 200 years. Retla and Lenne are just frauds.

posted 4 weeks ago

Talon just need to rebuild their roster. Replace DFM with Fennel, JP has one of the biggest fanbase in APAC but its been ages since their teams even got to playoffs

posted 4 weeks ago

Because A>B and B>C doesn't necessarily mean that A>C at any particular map pick

posted 4 weeks ago

Lots of braindead people here as well. Blame the org, not the players.

posted 4 weeks ago

I would switch it up a little for Pacific

GENG (10.0)
PRX (9.8)
T1 / DRX (9.2)
RRQ (8.8)
Talon / Team Secret (8.6)
ZETA / BLEED (8.4)
Global E-Sports / DFM (7.7)

hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby

posted 4 weeks ago

It'll be a win-win if Monyet can still plays smokes whenever mf underperforms in Shanghai then

posted 4 weeks ago

Mindfreak did great in Lotus but whether he can keep up this consistency or not bothers me. I personally feel Alecks should sub mf for monyet whenever he tilts

posted 4 weeks ago

Valorant is huge in Japan in general, look at how ZETA was second best selling capsule after PRX despite having pretty mid designs. Of course, PRX fanbase is also pretty big in Japan because of Something (former Sengoku player)

posted 4 weeks ago

miNt or curumi

posted 1 month ago

You're probably right I must've been watching GE vs DFM

I blame the 6am games scheduled by Rito for me and my Pacific Brethren

posted 7 months ago

Well if this is true then - MF + Mako although it won't be happening since DRX renewed his contract

posted 7 months ago

Yes sirrr

He played really well during the first PRX vs EG game but that's about it

posted 7 months ago

isn't Jawgemo Cambodian tho...

posted 7 months ago

He's one of the more inconsistent players on PRX and Monyet could probably play smokes with better aim.

posted 7 months ago

-Jinggg (Military) + Monyet
-Mindfreak + Jawgemo

posted 7 months ago

That’s quite a bold prediction to make. Against FUT he did well with the transition from Reyna to Jett. Besides, we never know if Jett to Reyna may mess up his gameplay as well.

I personally think he succumbs to pressure when people start expecting and comparing him with another star duelist playing the same agent.

I.e
Something vs Kang Kang
Something vs Demon1

posted 8 months ago

Both Something and Boostio didn’t show up last game and it was close, so I’d say 50-50 still

posted 8 months ago

Both PRX and EG are good on Pearl. 50-50 to be honest

posted 8 months ago

Haven has been perma ban on both teams and PRX has not played Haven on the current roster so we never know what they may cook.

Worst case just switch Haven with Ascent, I think PRX had a good chance against EG if not for C0M the goat

posted 8 months ago

If I were PRX, I would have used that 1 extra day to prep Haven.

PRX ban Fracture/Ascent

PRX pick Bind (PRX 70-30 EG)
EG pick Lotus (PRX 40-60 EG)
PRX pick Split (PRX 60-40 EG)
EG pick Pearl (PRX 50-50 EG)
Haven remains (PRX 60-40 EG)

PRX Jinggg : "Hopefully all my teammates are happy, and we just have a happy last one."

"I'm focused on trying to win. I mean it will be good if my last tournament is a win, but even if we lose, I think it's okay because I think we've done great."
