- Masters Rekyavik 1: game was in the stone age, 10 teams only, none of the lan finalists from later in the year qualified
- Lock in: no seeding, single elim, no tape on teams to counterstrat
- Masters Berlin: single elim
- Champs 2021: single elim playoffs, vivo keyd incident, teams that were out of form but qualified on points
- Masters Tokyo: some top teams in weird forms, prx had a sub
- Champs 2022: double elim throughout, very good teams attended, some teams out of form and qualified on points
- Masters Copenhagen: would be higher if a team with a bye won the tournement, dominant lower bracket run, lots of teams in great form

Only 3 teams were in form at tokyo out of 12 (fnc, eg, and edg). Reykjavik was only missing fpx, and fnatic wouldn't have done shit with a full roster.

brave was/is pretty good, the field was quite weak at Reykjavik 2 they definitely could've made a deep run

I'd argue that 3 teams in group A alone were in form for Tokyo. Navi despite going 0-2 looked very formidable against both NRG and EDG, granted EDG's "form" can really only peak at 4th place at a major that should still be taken into account.

FNC was pretty in form with BraveAF at the time. They got 4th in Copenhagen, they definitely could have shaken up the field in Reykjavík as well. I doubt they would have won, but the presence of two potential top 4 teams would have definitely changed things.
