I never said I don't like tarik in the sense that I dislike him. He is loud, not enjoyable but that doesn't mean I dislike him. He can be entertaining sometimes, but most times he is not. He seems like a decent person to me. Most of this post is related to his chat, not him. If it weren't for his fans and chat, this post wouldn't be made.

And when I talk about putting in efforts, I am talking about Valorant e-sports, not his personal career. I never said he's responsible for putting down other creators, you are braindead for putting words in my mouth and reaching your conclusions falsely. I moved away from watching him on watch parties because of the same reason. He's become way too greedy nowadays begging for subs and stuff. Guy takes a "break" for mental peace BUT comes back right in time for champions to get the subs & he doesnt even watch the game half the time. That pissed me off so much which is what led me to sgares/sliggy/tmv etc because they get as nerdy as me while watching the match. He's fine for gameplay and stuff but watch parties are a sub grab for him.

i feel like valorant is really lucky to have tarik as like the face of cc/watchparties, you can just tell that he's a respectful human. he supports marginalized communities, he makes guests feel comfortable on stream. ik these are small things, but what he did talking about the whole jasonr situation, watchpartying game changers last year and being respectful to all the girls competing, he really is a good example even if his chat doesn't wholeheartedly reflect that.

i definitely agree that some of these chatters are just complete weirdos, but tarik hasn't done anything himself to promote that behavior. you could argue condoning it doesn't help, but at least he doesn't necessarily promote it which i feel like all the big streamers do nowadays. like i watch his streams without looking at chat, and while you could argue the chat reflects the streamer, there really isn't anything you can do with a bunch of chronically online 10 year olds lol. and even then, his chat is still (sadly) 10x more respectful than cough cough some of the biggest streamers' chats bc of his behavior alone.

I totally agree with this. Just because I don't like how his watch parties are, doesn't mean I don't like him or dislike him. He's way better of a face for Valorant than who could have been. He's funny sometimes, does a lot for the community. Regardless, he can easily play a part into restricting certain behavior in his chat. He only ever minds it when there's a female guest on his stream, which I appreciate but he could obviously do way more. If it goes on, something that shouldn't be normalized, becomes normalized. (It already is)

honestly you're right, he is so much more respectful than a lot of other streamers would be. That's why I've been disliking his streams lately - he used to tell chat to stop or divert everyone with something else when they were doing braindead BOOBA spams. Now its happening a dozen times a stream every time any girl is shown, crowd or caster, and he doesn't say anything about it. I'm disappointed because he used to be so good about reining in that behavior when it was getting out of hand and now he's content to let it go on unchecked. Idk what changed
