The duo of Meteor and k1Ng showed up massively for Gen.G across the series with the pair's 50 kills on Haven matching the entirety of RRQ with 51. The stars ended the map with mind-blowing 1.65 and 1.63 ratings respectively.

These performances gave Gen.G a hot start in the series with the first five rounds on Haven going their way. RRQ clawed their way back late in the half, but it wasn't enough to prevent a strong 8-4 lead going into halftime. A second pistol for Gen.G sealed RRQ's fate on Haven as the Koreans capitalized on their lead to take the map 13-6.

RRQ showed a new face on Lotus. fl1pzjder 's squad handled an unorthodox Gekko pick from TS with ease. The Koreans managed just two rounds over the entire map as RRQ dominated in a 13-2 victory. Every member of RRQ ended the map on either 13 or 14 kills as the whole team provided key moments of success to tie up the series.

RRQ were unable to carry any momentum into Ascent, however, as Gen.G kicked off the decider with a streak of six rounds. Meteor and k1ng returned to excellent form to take their team to the top three. A 9-3 start for Gen.G was followed up by a second pistol win and a 3K from k1ng to close things out. Gen.G comfortably dealt with their opposition on Ascent, taking the map 13-7 and the series 2-1.

Gen.G will rematch against Team Secret tomorrow for a spot in the grand finals.

RRQ have been eliminated and their 2023 season has come to a close.
