Bro that’s gotta be the worst feeling ever. Grinding like crazy all year just to win NOTHING by getting 2nd place. Ascension is so cut throat, runner up is worthless

Independent on their performance they stay 2 years so what you get is always the same basically but yeah coming 2nd will be harsh

There is absolutely no way they get dropped unless there is community backlash for something (like being criminals)

hot take but 2nd place in ascension is not bad at all.

you proved yourself in the league and will probably get poached from franchised teams who need a rebuild.

Tbf a lot of the expected 2nd / 3rd place teams in all the Ascension tourneys have talent good enough to be picked up into the leagues anyway. eg TGRD, Acend, Gentle Mates, Scarz

Well those teams won’t get ascended yes but 2nd place will probably be the first to get poached for tier 1
