the fell of drx beats fut tho who got third in the league and nrg had a 7-0 start against t1 but the final result ended in 11-13 victory for nrg. if t1 got more round at the start then t1 could have been the third pacific team in playoff

i dont care about if's and but's. NAVI will only improve from this place, FUT will get better too. EMEA top 2 played much better than PACIFIC top 2.
#3 seeds of both did the same, won one lost 2. if liquid hadnt lost 12-7 lead they would've been #4 who knows, but we arent talking about "if-then" cases here

emea top 2 played better than pacific top 2 because they were already in the playoff. also why cant drx regain their top 3 in the world form + t1 can improve as well because carpe is getting better every event. fut won against the china team that drx beat easily then drx destroyed fut haven showing theres still a skill disparity between washed drx and fut.

Level of some pacific teams are even lower than teams like Heretics in my opinion but because emea have a team like Fnatic who would shit on anyone regardless it makes the region look less competitive than it actually is

IMO, if top 6 plays(EMEA vs pacific) - EMEA would win most matches.
If we take bottom half i think it's more about which team performs better on that given day.

Fut vs drx: agreed that fut did not perform up to the expectations, but they are very good team and probably win against 3-6 seeded in pacific. It might be 50-50 against t1.
Navi also underperformed but you can never underestimate 4 masters winning players.
Liquid: expected 5-6 finish and they did exactly that which is still not bad. Then winning EMEA helped them but would still beeat all teams(9 out of 10 teams) in pacific except PRX.
Fnatic: first ever team to win 2 international titles and back to back. Clearly the best team in the world this year right from the start.

T1 performed better than I expected but still gor placed where I thought they would eventually end up.
PRX proved why they were pacific champions.
DRX - overall disappointing since pacific playoffs, hope they up the ante.

Obviously there is equal chance for all the teams to get better in due time.

Pacific was definitely entertaining and sometimes unpredictable for sure but don't think it was more competitive than EMEA.

Pacific is the most competitive region, for a given game, unless and both teams are not named PRX DRX or DFM(omegalul) the match has the chance to go either way and I can see any of the teams in pacific winning LCQ other than Detonation which is beyond saving.

On the other hand, if you don't have Giants and Navi winning LCQ you are trolling your pickems

unless navi decides to troll yet again...they havent fixed 'role issues' till the elimination game in masters tokyo...u are telling me, they wont have a hard time against other teams who had like twice the prep time for lcq? maybe they win due to heroics of shao suygetsu, but trust me it will be close

Pretty similar imo. PRX <= FNC, DRX <= TL, NaVi <= T1.

I think EMEA may have better teams at the top but Pacific has better teams 5th - 10th in their region compared to EMEA.

drx is better than team liquid. alot of the times hero plays saves team liquid and against drx those hero plays wont happen that often :D

I personally think DRX has a higher peak than Liquid but is worse than Liquid in their current form. I just don't see the same DRX from the Pacific League round robin

i didnt see the team liquid who played in emea league too. they got 13-2 by eg. team liquid relies on hero plays from jampii and sayf to win and against drx they wont get that many hero rounds
