I just saw that meme "Don't ever set foot in South India" and some people in the comments are saying it's not a threat but advice. Is South India bad or something?
Fill me in on this East Coast vs West Coast debate of India.

Look at every major statistic about the development of India and you will see that the Southern states are far ahead
So far what I have learned from Reddit is that Chennai is like the Singapore of India. And looking at the map, Chennai is at South. So yes, that would be the truth.
Indian descent yes but I’ve lived in America my whole life, I just occasionally go to India to visit family
how am I so good at identifying Indians who are ashamed of their country? I always knew you were a self shaming Indian like FNS
I can confirm that South is a way better in terms of development and stuff but the capital and some of the important places are in the North
I like South because you can get good ping in both Mumbai and Singapore server 💰💰💰
It's quite a big stretch consisting of the 5 State's coastlines but to be more understandable and simple Mumbai comes under west coast
West coast has Karnataka, Kerala and Goa and they are one of the best places to visit
I think it's just a meme. I live in South India it's developed it's good here. And obviously for people who would be expecting this answer I get like 28ms in Mumbai server and 40ms in Singapore so I can play wherever I like that's one thing. And South India is pretty chill like Chennai has gotta lotta cool stuff to visit..just beware of the heat
Well some people go crazy on Reddit. If I remember correctly a few days ago I saw a thread in which you guys were arguing about Mumbai vs Delhi pollution or something.
I don't know I didn't see such a thread but complaining about like Mumbai vs Delhi which has higher pollution is pure bs. Every Metropolitan city in India will have pollution including Chennai Bangalore Hyderabad etc. I'd just suggest don't take such threads or such people arguing this much that seriously cause the logic is that every big city in India does have pollution higher or lower it's still pollution

It wasn't a thread specifically about Mumbai vs Delhi but deviated into one
Yeah just saw this thread, funny how a proposition of keeping a masters in India turned into a pollution comparison topic.
ayo, no disrespect to North India, but I like South Indian cusine better. South Indian Chicken Biriyani hits different highkey no offense.
As an Indian, just don't ever come to India, that's the advice I'll give you🗿
