Yes. Americas and Pacific teams that qualify for Masters also qualify for champs since no one can get more points than them. The rest have to go through LCQ

Because it's top 3 teams in the playoffs that qualify in the Pacific League. The lowest you could get if you're in the upper final is 3rd place, so DRX and PRX punched their ticket.

And champs

If you qualify to Tokyo you automatically get a spot at Champions as well. 🤷‍♂️Riot Rules

top 3 teams of americas and pacific are booked for masters and champs aswell.

For EMEA 4 spots in masters as they won Lock/In but only top 3 goes to champs

Well, there is no physical time to make another qualifier in between

They made the upper finals of the playoffs bracket. Whoever wins goes to the grand finals and is guaranteed a minimum of 2nd place. Whoever loses drops to the lower finals. Whoever loses the lower finals is the 3rd place team. Whoever wins the lower finals goes to the grand finals and places minimum 2nd.

That’s crazy, imagine say giants got 4th overall in playoffs and won tokyo but they still have to go to lcq in order to qualify for champs lol

There's going to be a LCQ for Champions for sure? I thought they removed it

No, the emea team that finishes lowest of the 4 emea teams at Tokyo will have to play LCQ. You get points for placement at Tokyo, even if you finish last, so Americas and Pacific sending 3 teams, guarantees that those 3 teams will earn points, where the rest of the teams in those leagues can't earn points, so they are making champions. Emea sending four teams, means that the team with the lowest points (the worst performer) will have to play LCQ with the other emea teams, since the first 3 direct slots to Champions are taken by the teams with more points.
