ranked highlights against imm1s are surely indicative whether you are ready to join pro scene or not

I haven’t played ranked a while seriously so I’m imm1, but my past 4-5 videos are all from imm3-rad clips as well as scrims and tournaments

Keep playing the game idk? Last time I competed at a more or less high level(top 8 cis team in crossfire, no org no salary tho because we had only 1 org interested in crossfire and their team was winning everything in the region for 5 years straight+top 4 and top 2 at crossfire stars(world championship) we just met at teamspeak servers/while playing pugs and then scrimmed 24/7, current valorant has a much larger pool of players to form a team with so it should be even easier for you, you get contacts in tier 3-tier 2, you play pugs together, some team invites you for a tryout and that's it.

Yeah ofc, I’m speaking from someone who was successfully IGLing, beating, and practicing top 50-100 teams in NA. So I was wondering if off my clips that general opinion would back up a switch to the duelist role. My original 500 hrs in val were all on Jett, but I picked up info initiator, flex, and controller to play on higher level T2-3 teams. Ever since then my game sense has been at its peak, and my mechanics have also gotten better. Also these clips are over the span of less than a month; so I typically average 1-2 sick clips per game.

It's hard to judge cuz it's ranked and everyone can hit shots in valorant since movement is super slow, the duelist role is oversaturated with free agents but if you believe in yourself then go for it , why not? In terms of career opportunities flex role is better tho

Yeah I agree my IGLing (of course with the caliber of teammates I had) would’ve helped take us to top 20-30 caliber within months and we could’ve been contenders for ascension 2024; but have my team got signed to an org called Hall of Fame in late March / early April. My value rn is at its highest as an info initiator (cuz of my experience on paper, as an IGL (cuz of my tournament experience and recent experience), but lastly I feel like I COULD be a high level duelist, as I’ve always been exceptionally dominant in high level MM, and have the experience of playing competitively for a year and a half now, and have IGL’d the duelists on my team so I know how to play in that environment off experience and off my teammates yfm

the aiming in his montage looks great, i think he needs more big brain plays since he hasn't cracked radiant yet

I’ve hit around 350 RR Imm3, but was the IGL of my team and we were beating a few top 100 VLR teams in tournaments and also clapping multiple more top 100 teams in scrims (ofc scrims aren’t about winning but it went to show a skill gap cuz of the insane round differentials)

what do you think you are lacking?

  • if you know what you are lacking, work on it everyday (easy)
  • if you think you are not lacking anything, means you need better competition

I am bronze 3, and highest silver 3, so treat me with me respect alright! Ciao!

The only thing stopping me from rad is time tbh, cuz at a certain level it’s about number of wins to get that high RR, and 3/5 of my ex teammates were all currently radiant during my teams lifespan. This is the first time in a while that I can grind for radiant so I’m gonna do so as I’m F/A,and put that notch on my belt while I work on more serious things. I need wins under my name and a good team to either play for or help build up.

Yo bro what are some tips you can give some washed Immortal 1 (me) I keep fluctuating between Asc3 and Imm1 like i just want to improve but i feel like my first bullet accuracy is dogshit. I have a deathmatch winrate of 20% (💀)

Honestly bro? Better game sense, and as for mechanics - CONSISTENCY. For game sense it depends on how serious you are. If it’s just ranked you wanna improve on, watch back your clips and make notes on choosing better decisions in game, and start making those choices faster. The best way imo is to play scrims and tournaments in environments where all 10 players high level AND are taking the game seriously. That way concepts like map control, defaulting, execs, retakes, and playing with more discipline is learned not only faster, but more effectively. I think if you’re having trouble with controlling your aim then lower your sensitivity. Also? deathmatch is the best for preaiming angles and keeping that headshot crosshair placement consistent across map. Practicing your aim on bots in the range is also good for making sure u dont overflick (easy-medium mode, or practice mode)

Playing duelist vs immo players in ranked is different than playing it versus actual good pro players, these are good clips (shit song though), but do you think you can replicate this vs a decently organized team?

Or do you feel more comfortable playing ini?

Yeah, I believe I can. Most of my hours on the game are on duelist and a majority of those are on Jett. However, once I started playing competitively In T3 and against T2 teams, my mechanics, game sense, and fundamentals skyrocketed. I’ve been playing a high level info initiator, flex initiator, and controller at that level, but because of my experience and knowledge as an IGL I believe I can also play the duelist role (also because of my lengthy experience on the characters). So confidence and experience isn’t the issue. I’d just have to try. But honestly I’m equally comfortable on both roles and I’m F/A without a team rn so I gotta decide whether being an IGL, flex player, or duelist
