how unfortunate would that be? viewer ship would go down 50% tbh it is in riots best interest to rig it from here on out

when ever c9 is about to lose remake it

that's a really simple-minded way of looking at it

if NA team doesn't make it = less interest from NA= less viewers = less popularity = less sponsors = less money = Riot caring less = declining playerbase

with how difficult it is even to make profit with esports in the first place, everyone should be hoping for regions with massive fan bases to go to qualify
like JP and NA if u want valorant to succeed in its still very early stages.

So basically what I'm saying is, install aimbot to a few NA/JP player mouses, once you do a tech check, "look" the other way @riot admins

Why invest in only one market then?

if there's no NA AND no Japan teams, then tokyo will probably have lower viewership than lock in

When NA fails (like right now 🗑) NA will stop watching.

Basically no one is EMEA watches anyway (besides Turkey) when cs2 comes out EMEA will die

This game will only be relevant in Asia and SA.

The teams that qualify are the ones that deserve it.

eSports is a space where return is highly unpredictable. As a company when they r starting out (new eSport) they always look at one which has least risk and gauranteed return. Simple
