I mean many people do hate him without actually knowing why which is cringe,
but if you look into him he still stays hate-able because unless he's lying, he's pretty clearly a human trafficker
He said in his own words that he lures woman by tricking them into thinking he's in love with them,
bringing another woman part of his org to convince them that it's fine,
takes them to another country where they don't speak the language,
and takes higher amount of their money then agreed (which is stealing).

which is true but the turkish also came to a lot of the other matches to show support, and cheered for good plays (except against xset). thats what you call a W crowd, who come in with some bias (ofc) but still show appreciation for the other teams. these brazilians have zero modicum of respect for the other teams that are competing

Ofc u would be cheering for home ground. But what is home ground isn't playing? then what? are you going to leave the stadium empty just bc ur home team isnt playing? thats just wrong
heck based on what ive seen, if loud got eliminated, the grand finals would have been an entirely empty turnout

However, what you're stating is not true.

I totally agree that the first week was a bust, but you have to take into consideration that the games took place in the afternoon, during most people's work and study hours, while the most important holiday of the year was happening (when people travel the most). Also, Riot sold the tickets without announcing the teams playing at the day beforehand, meaning a lot of people bought tickets to watch teams that they don't support.

That being said, last couple weeks the venue was kinda full, specially during the weekends. I was there on Feb 25th (TS x Navi / Lev x Vitality) and I can comfortably say that the arena was full. Same goes for today (~80% full), even though it was a normal working day in Brazil.

I can affirm to you that the finals would be full regardless of which team was playing.

It's always great to see the support of a home crowd but one thing I hate is when the crowd try to give away information like if someone has a timing or position no-one would expect and the crowd tries to cheer the team/player about it. Otherwise, I actually really like home crowd bias, adds to the hype of an event.

Hopefully their is at least some of their energy for the Fnatic vs NaVi game as well.

I believe those headphones cancel every single bit of external sounds in the arena. Otherwise, they would also hear what the announcer is saying (announcer is always set to be louder than the crowd and is most likely speaking the language of the host country)

I hope so as well, but since it's friday (work day) and that's no BR team playing, I don't think crowd are going to be insane as yesterday... ppl that work normally can get only 1 day-off and obviuosly they would choose a day where's a BR team playing

But also, since it's a BO5 and semi-finals, I think more ppl bought tickets to watch (hopefully)

I mean. That's how it is even in traditional sports international events. Even the announcer's tone will be biased for the home team lol. But it feels so good to see these kind of crowds again and them being so passionate about esports.

95% of the tournament is literally ruined because of how quiet they are when Brazil isn't playing. So many good plays from EMEA, APAC teams that will be forever forgotten with the residentsleeper crowd.

I will not condone the crowds giving the extra edge to their home teams but people need to realise this isn't just Brazilians who do this, it happens every where in the world so I'm not butt hurt if loud win the lock in for two main reasons firstly LOUD are an immense team and have proven that coming off the back of their champs win and two crowd cheering is expected at lans it can't be controlled in any manner when theirs no perspecs boxes for the teams to sit in like they have done in the past, put it this way if it was your team getting the same advantage would you complain ?? Highly unlikely so people need to give up this whole Brazilians are winning because of the crowd that's rubbish they won because their good at the game right now
